I really hope they make a concerted effort to seperate combat professions in the CB, so that not only do they each have unique rolls that are as near to equal in worth as could be, but also make it so that each and every profession's ability does not stack with one another. This is the answer to making master worth something and dabbling not the way to be the best combatant in the game (that is, in my opinion anyway).

There are alternatives too, as Judas says. Two nice Republics, DX2s, heck, even two of my DL-44s would be nice (it's an underated weapon in my experience)

Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Another fan of the lowly DL44? That's my primary tool of choice! 163 max 2.1 spd 12/31/12 HAM, and a +46 at ideal. Gets hella better with slices and powerups too. I ran off about 10 crates of those before I dropped weaponsmith. I love that pistol. Not sure how they'll handle dual weapons. I wouldn't be all that concerned with dual scatters if they do things right. For instance, if the HAM's double up as well, that guy trying to use dual scatters should be good for exactly one special attack before his "specials HAM bar" will be empty. Guess we will have to wait and see how that goes.
On another note, one of these fine days,I will have to write a short story about a pistoleer, using dual pistols to duel against a duo dual sword wielding duelists. ![]()

I know it's not got AP1, butmine's 201 max, 2.1 spd (sliced of course)
I should really look into getting some power ups.. I never use them.

Um, why the hell would you even say such a thing and give them the idea?
If we can't equip any two pistols we want by just double clicking each one, then it's a worthless ability IMHO. Rand, how about trying to dig up some info on it?
I do expect to have to have a seperate, unique pistol for each hand, but with that, be able to put any pitol combination in them. And I expect to get accurace penalty for it. And I expect it to be at master pistoleer. But that's about it.
