This is pretty simple. I use last ditch when I am one on one, throw in bleed one and bleed two and low blow.

Fan shot: I only use this with mobs. I must admit that the fan shot does some devistating damage on mobs. I don't care what anyone says, Fan shot on a mob can be extremely effective. Keep in mind that you need to check the vulnerability of the mob. IE if your attacking a mob and the majority are 100 percent effective against acid and you are using your dx2, well you get the idea.

If your going to be a decent pistoleer you need to carry multiple pistols. I carry Featherweight,dx2,republic,geo blaster, and a Han Solo special. I gurantee if the mofo has a vulnerability I got the pistol for it.

as a master pistoleer/master smuggler I find myself using Last Ditch alot more than Fan Shot. Fan Shot has the tendency for me to aggro stuff I did not want to (course that's prally cause I'm lasy about where I'm shooting )

I prefer fanshot any day over last ditch... in fact i recently abandoned smuggler for bh/eyeshot and boy am I glad I did.

But when you're shooting someone, you don't stop and think, "Gee, I'd really like to kill this creature that's mauling me, but I'm concerned over the well being of the weapon I am holding, so I think I'll fire slower as to minimize the damage. To the weapon that is, since I just woke up in a cloning center."

actually best dam combo for pistol when it works is low blow fan shot with my unenhanced geo pistol when I use that combo in in pve typically I will get in at least 3 hits of around 4500. Now I do have 92 speed mod using tapes and so was able to dam slice and dam pu geo even though 2.7 delay I still spam all at one sec.

On side note though cant swear to it low blows seems to land more when I usegeo blaster. May be wishful thinking but hey it simple things like that make me happy P

Thx again for the info. I used the damage calculater and really Last Ditch seems to be the winner in PVP if I can get the speed of the weap down to 1.5 sec. So a Geo Pistol at 1.9 with a 30% speed powerup gets me there. Otherwise it seems fan shot does more damage. Im at the base 74 pistol speed.

Does this seem about accurate to you? Plus I think spamming Last Ditch will evenutually put a stun on even a fencer. That no doubt is an advantage..

Are skill tape plentiful? I'm on Bria..
