Actually, asking for duel pistol's is not asking for a graphics change like twirly pistol's. (besides, the graphic's group is done, they have been looking for things to do, or so they said like a month ago on one of the threads). Asking for duel weild is saying, "look, everyone is shooting FASTER then a pistoleer and doing it for MORE damage, so why not throw us a stinking bone over here you stinking cockroaches!" (I know, I stole a part from a movie).


On a side note, is it just me, or does it seem that TH is showing favoritism over in the Commando boards. This is the second day I have seem him posting over there asking for what they think they need. I remember the first one was when his name wasn't showing up I believe, I know it because some crackhead asked for pistol specials and increase damage and AR to their pistol. And now on the dev tracker he's posting over there again. What about the rest of us?

I'm glad that they are atleast working on Dual Wield means I will eventually be able to have two pistols and be the cool dude I've always envisioned =)

So I was planning on getting some TKA and Fencer to go along with my Master Gunfighter, and once I have those to still use my pistol as a primary weapon...Are you telling me that the defensive mods that I wanted to get from brawling will not work for me when I go back to pistol?

I'm telling you that I don't know for sure. I do know that you don't Dodge when you unequip a pistol ... don't know if you'll Dodge if you have a one-handed sword equipped, etc. I need to run more tests, which I'll turn to after looking atthe current Test Center changes.

Um, at master pistoleer, a good speed pistol maxed you out at 1 shot per second as it is. Upping the pistol speed modifier shouldn't do anything, it will still be capped at 1 shot per second. I highly agree though, that a master rifleman with a high damage and SLOW rifle shouldn't be able to shoot as fast as a master pistoleer with a low damage FAST pistol. And Yea, please do SOMETHING about the DX2 being so sucky.

obviously just a master pistoleer is no where as good as just a carbineer or any other tree, Though it can be great with smuggler and tka but it sucks by it self. I think the devs need to realize this. I can only do like 1k damage with an fwg5 while a smuggler with one and master pistoleer can do like 3k. Its not pistoleer that is too good it is smuggler's last ditch

This is a commonly held belief, but it is not correct. The weapon speeds at which pistol specials are capped for a +74 Master Pistoller are 1.2s for Stopping Shot, 1.6s for Fan Shot and BS3, and 2.1s for BS2. It is very possible to have pistols that do not run into these, such as a stock or damage sliced Republic Blaster.


So even if the cap for shooting pistols remain at 1s (and it shouldreally be lower than other ranged weapons to compensate for low damage and AP0/1), the Pistoleer tree could still benefit from more +Pistol Speed.

Well, I'm back from my Thanksgiving vacation and look at the board and STILL no reply back on our state of the profession report. He told us one week, did he mean one month? I also looked at the Dev tracker and the first thing I see is him posting again on the Commando boards. Now I know for a fact there is some favoritism going on there. I guess if we want to be fixed we better become Commando's like TH in order to get some love.

First off, Thank's for keeping us up to date as you do.


As a Master Gunfighter for a month now, It would be nice to see our DX2's fixed. I also believe we need some more high powered Guns with different damage.. like Cold. Maybe a Slower firing Gun that has at least AP2.


The Broken Shots like Multi, PMD2.. would be nice. But, more importantly I think that BodyShot 3 needs a higher modifier or it or Stoping Shot moved to Master and Upped.


Stopping shot is Definately miss named.. unless your shooting Rils, meatlump's or othere small lvl 10 or less. In it's description, it says incapacitate or kill in 1 shot.. how about at least throwing a chance to Stun or KD?


As it stands know I check what's a round and spam that Fan.. like I'm sure most of us do..
