Yea, but even with 130 pistol speed, you will be firing at the same exact rate that riflemen will shoot at. Couple this with the fact that their guns do twice the damage and have 2-3 more degrees of armor piercing.

Pistoleers have a maximum armor piercing capability of 1. Riflemen get 3.

If you hit someone with with armor on you have to cut through the resists with a pistol. Hit them with an armor piercing 3 rifle and not only do you hit them for twice as hard as a pistol, but multiply that by twodegrees of damage increase due to armor piercing... It's sick.

This is why pistoleers have to buy multimillion credit guns to even benear thecompetitive league with riflemen. Pistoleer = expensive.
