I just compared our armor nobuses with rifleman and carbineers ones...
WHY IN HELL DO WE HAVE ONLY 10% MOVEMENT BONUS WHENE THEY GOT 40% ???????????
Come on we are the moset moving class from those 3 and we are just less efficient at moving? does this make ANY sens to anyone?
Yeah, I really don't get the whole theme of master pistoleer being the weakest of all the pistol users in the game. Its a pretty consistent theme too, even in live now the best pistol shots are in bounty hunter and smuggler.

So, all the guns that I use now as a novice I have to be a master to use after the CU? No DX2? No Republic Blaster? What do you get during the Marksman line, a peashooter? Water pistol and then a Supersoaker at tier 4? Where do all those new guns that were showed off in the Friday feature fit in?
As far as I could see, some of the new weapons are listed in the certifications. I have a feeling that alot of those new toys are going to follow SOE's current love of "once only loot schematics" game that is killing alot of the fun for crafters.
As for the "peashooters" you'll be getting in Marksman, it goes something like this:
Novice - CDEF Pistol
Pistols 1 - DH 18 Pistol
Pistols 2 - ??? (memorys fails on that one, sorry)
Pistols 3 - DL 44
Pistols 4 - Scout Blaster
Master Marksman - Metal DL 44
In a way, this is a good sign to me. Han always had his DL on him at all times. Right now, no Pistoleer worth thier title would be caught dead with one unless it was an extreamly high end one. Having the DX2 and Republic at Master Pistoleer is one thing that I'm not too sure I like. I'd like to see the Republic lower in the chains especially since they hand out a few of them as mission rewards.

Actually, the D18 is pistols 2.
For everyone else, you gotta remember that weapons in the CU are stronger than weapons in Live. You gotta stop comparing the current system with the new skills because it doesn't work. So far, I've been testing marksman pistols in the CU and it seems fine. Every marksman profession gets a melee knockdown basically like pistol whip right away in marksman so that's a benefit too.

Nice job.
I noticed this in testing, and wanted to voice my opinion... I hope this is an okay place to do it...
I just want to voice my displeasure with the DX2 and Republic Blasters being in the Master Box.
I've been playing a Pistoleer for nearly two years and the DX2 has been my sidekick since I reached Novice (Even though at the time the Smiths hadn't figured out how to make it quite right... or more importantly lacked the quality resources for it).
It's been my signature gun... am I a fool for getting attached to my character? (Silly me)
No, I'm not a Master... so that means I'm not as skilled as a master, I'm willing to live with that, but I should be able to use the gun of my choice.
I think that the novice box of Elite Professions should grant all the certs (With some Legendary Loot exceptions if need be) and the player's advancement in that profession should grant the skills and modifiers to use those weapons better.
I was really hoping the CURB would bring certs into play more like this... rather than further limiting your choices.
At the very least, I would like to see them respect the veteran players a little more and not drastically change certs that we have been using for so long. I know the weapon's characteristics are changing... that's not my complaint.
DX2 and Republic Blasters should stay at Novice Pistoleer.
A weapon should be an individual's signature... the Professions Skills and modifiers should be the Player's improvements/rewards.
We shouldn't be forcing people to Master Professions.
Stacking is being taken care of... there are other Profession combinations that weren't just taking advantage of the best stats and modifiers.
Masters should be rewarded with the most exceptional skill in their feild and all the versatility of that chosen profession.
I've been a Master Musician, Partial Pistoleer, Partial Creature Handler since the early days of this game.
I'm not trying to take advantage of anything.
From a personal standpoint, I would like to be able to use the weapons that I have come to call my own.
From an overall picture of the game's standpoint... I would rather see more variety lower down in the skills, so that weapons don't clearly indicate which skills a Player has in their professions... rather their skill would.
I'm hoping a Master might use a DL44... a Novice might use a DX2, others might use a Striker Pistol, a D18 (Maybe)... who knows... I was hoping we'd see most of the pistols opened up throughout the entire profession. So that a player might choose their weapon based on looks and their skills will make that gun equal to the others.
Thanks again,
May the force be with you.

I just wanted to add... I had only looked at the Certs for the weapons I cared about... I can't believe all the cert changes and put in the different branches of the professions!
It seems to me their making this a "Master your Professions" Game.
I loved the old game where you could combine a little of this and a little of that to make something (close to) equal as a master of one.
