Rifles are heavier to wave around and therefore more difficult to point towardsshort-range moving targets.

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

A note to you all making references 2 films etc.

Star Wars is set in the future 'Clint Eastwood never fired lasers at his targets' no one knows how heavy the substance which would b required to make a laser weapon would b because we have not yet created one soo powerful and compact 2 b used as a pistol etc.

On the thought of Kinetic pistols however, an example would be 'they are still lasers' 'thats y they dont have to b re-loaded'

SOE can say ne of this as no one actually knows these facts and they know better because they made it.

All the hinderence goes into the equalibrium of the game as it works better with it!

err...... that's not nearly as true as you think it is. when you aim a pistol you extend your arms in front of you, so you can look down the barrel. your arms have to move ina big arc. When you shift aim with a rifle, you push or pull with your rear hand on the stock, since it is almost under your chin, that hand has to move only inches, not feet. With a shotgun, your arms never move, you twist your torso.

Still, the system I think is dumbed down way to much. why is the weapon hinderence the same for a spraystick and a T21?
By the same token why is the weapon hinderence MORE for a spaystick than that cannon called a DE-10?

How come you have max accuracy with a T-21 when running full speed?
How come firing with a T-21 at 5m range is as easy as from 75?

would be cool if tehy could add a hinderence according to size of weapon and multiplied or devided by a idea range and it would all be different for different weapons? just an ider
