creature handlers have been shafted more then smugglers. The CH nerf was supposed to be the "first step" in the CU and there is absolutely nothing in it that has to do with making CH an equal combat prof again.

Seems like everyone gets shafted except SOE. The bucks keep rolling in for them as they force existing players out and the noobs in. That's what they want I guess.

Speaking as a smuggler who has in the past been quite full of angries

I am thrilled with the CU so far. I liked the smuggler specials while we got to use them, I love hunting in a group, I personally think the smuggler pistol fits very well, as a "say hello to my little friend" type weapon, and for those that don't like the Smuggler pistol certs , they can choose another prof and use other pistols, or a rifle or carbine.

That's not to say I think we don't have a long way to go ina very small amount of time, or that I'm not very upset for LA forcing a date for the CU onto SOE.

But that's in the background.

the people I find to be unhappy are The ones who spent a kajillionty five credits on an Uber DOT and loved the old, "I play more obsessively and have more money so I R t3h w1nn3r " system of PvP

Actually, we smugglers are just happy that we are getting something, even if it is small. Give us anything..anything at all.

But the pistol that the SL's get is the one every pistoleer wanted, the Intimidator. I don't see why these new pistols cant be cross certed like the Firespray and SoroSuub in JTL are. The one new pistol that doesn't look like utter Shyte on a Stick we pistoleers don't get.

I've been smuggler/pistoleer since the beginning and I'm loving the changes coming. I like the new roles for pistoleer and smuggler and I'll be staying masters at both. Even with the changes I'll probably be getting BH pistols also just so I can get everything I can for pistols(and also be able to use Mando armor bwahaha.) I think some of the anger is just a kneejerk reaction since us smugglers are used to reacting that way to most changes for us. Once we can test it out, I think people will start to understand how useful smugglers will be and how fun it can be. Combining pistoleer and smuggler, we will pretty much be able to make opponents worthless in combat.

Happy Smuggler here. Not sure about any of us really being that upset at present. And if you think THIS is bad? lol We can get riotous, but not so at present. I think the CU looks pretty cool. It'll push me a little bit more pistoleer, but that's a good thing. Been a TripMaster for so long...now I'm just gonna use da guns. bang bang.
