Thread: the smugglers are more pissed than we are...

go look at the smuggler boards, they are pretty pissed aobut the CU and such, and they really arent even the combat prof with psitols we are. lol, we are sitting back waiting to be Cu'ed and these guys are having strokes, I love it

I'm not angry, just want the bugs squashed and UI cleaned up. I like the role(s) that we're getting - if used properly our skills can be very powerfull.

uh,. i think most pistoleers already check smug boards as the 2 profssorta alreadywent together, btw

i have been pistoleer ever sense i got the game and i have never been smuggler let alone have i been to the smuggler board so u should work on that....

The SMuggler's have a whole revamp coming their way... so they shouldn't be too terribly angry.

Smugglers have lots of built up rage... if you have been a smuggler for a long period of time like most smugglers and have seen promisses and such broken and then gotten the shaft numerous times you would get angry fast also.

I'm a smuggler and a pistoleer.....guess I'm about due to go postal in the near future....

I'm just angered by the fact that pistoleers and smugglers don't even get the best pistols. Am I wrong here or should a PISTOLeer have a better variety of pistols than a squad leader?

As far as I'm aware they do. SLs are just getting one pistol cert in their tree which they have been wanting for quite some time. Pistoleers still have a greater variety and as Lordmaxx said, the devs are going to redo alot of the redundant pistols rather than giving "new" ones to the pistoleers.
Garvin also noted that they are pushing for the pistol to be the most recognised weapon in the game which is why SLs, CMs and smugglerhave been given newpistol certs.

yeah us smugglers are an unruly lot... good at whining though 
for whatever reason some of us want to be tanks as well, yet seem reluctant to take a second "tanking" profession. for the life of me i cant understand what all the fuss is about. My only small complaint is it seems pistoleer and smuggler overlap a bit in combat roles. oh well as for me thanks for all the hard work devs i'm sure it will be great!

really? this 'smuggler rage' is news to me. Most, if not all the folks I have been talking to in the SIN channel on TC have been excited about the changes. There at first was some reservation about the crowd controll role but after seeing what stopping shot did I know many smugglers were thinking 'damn, mebbe cc will be sweet after all'.

Most smugglers I know are excited about the Crowd Control role smugglers will get to play, I've not felt that too many were 'pissed off' and are eager to see what is to come.
