Thread: What are some pistoleer moves that are good against jedi?
disarming is good to get some time to heal or put some distance between you two. Dizzy and blind lower defense and offense.
a good method for getting some breathing room is to disarming shot then kd, then stop shooting. then it takes them several seconds to get up while you run off, and prepare a root or heal.

open with underhand shot, still have yet to see a jedi that can block this when it is an opening attack. Immediately after this, while they are on thier backs use warning shot, then stopping shot, burst shot, and disarming. Now his sabre is unequipped and Adv. Critical shot is great here, continue to switch between Adv. Critical, warning shot, and torso shot...throw in warning shot and busrt shot as needed. The key is to stick states and keep the jedi clearing those and healing his damage. You can run him outta force quickly this way. A bomb droid while he is rooted is a nice touch!

Disarm is good... so is Intimidate and Burst Shot. I had a duel with a healer guildmate and despite being extremely drunk at the time, set him on fire and poisoned him then used disarm shot to keep him off me while he drained his force to heal it.
Then I'd dump some quickdraws and bodyshots while keeping myself alive with healing and waiting for his force to run out.
How did you set him on fire?
I wish!

Ah, thanks.
I was hoping it was some pistolieer secret.
Wear them down. A defender with infusion can soak up a lot of damage without incurring huge force cost but if you can outdamage those basic heals and force the jedi to use a 1500 heal that is when it starts to cost them force.
The fire and poison dotsdo not put any additional force cost on to heals but once you add pistol damage on top of that, it does.
Disarm shot, stopping shot, well-timed knockdowns and well organised healing are key. Having a damage macro to dump your action when good opportunities arise will also be useful.
Hope this helps.
