Just because we are not a high dmg class, does not mean we are broken. We are not balanced to rifleman, or TKA, or even fencer, but we do have very nice defences. Yes, we have many redundant and useless specials (does not mean they are broke). I may have gotten slightly off topic, but the original poster is correct, pistoleer is far from a broken/useless/nonfunctional class, but we are also far from a well balanced class. My point was, we should offer constructive feedback to improve our profession, whining, griping etc, while great stress relievers they are not productive ways to effect change. And yes, I have been a master pistoleer for a great while (and intend on keeping it), and for what ever reason do not seem to have the difficulties that others are. I enjoy it very much as is. The professionwill be improved soon. Till then,I simply won't PvP a rifleman, but I have absolutely no trouble hunting any other content in game.
