LOL!!! That's so funny, because I haven't been playing SWG either recently since I finally broke down and got the expansions for NWN. Of course, right now I'm trying to actually finish the original campaign for once! Then the two expansions... and the CURB still won't be in beta when I'm done.
One thing, switching from type to chat and enter to chat takes a few days at least. You'll be hitting a few commands before you remember to hit enter.
Shouldn't be too hard. JTLS is all modal chat. You have to hit Return or the forward-slash ( / ) keyto chat in space. Before JTLS it would've been a challenge, but not now. ![]()
Edit: Oh, Nifty, I just started Chapter 2. I tried using a Bard/Harper Scout char with Tomi as my henchman, and just couldn't take Desther at all, so I created a new game and new character to do it differently. I am now Rogue 5/Assassin 4/Shadowdancer 1, and use Daelan as my henchman. Sad to say, I usually do better without him at all, lol. I can walk through almost anything. It's the most uberest I've ever played any game, and I'm loving it. I'm so cheap in NWN!

I'm almost done with Chapter 2, just have Charwood left and to finish one of the sidequests. I went Elven Bard so I could get the Arcane Archer PrC. right now I'm Bard 8/Arcane Archer 4 and I switch around with Grimgnaw, Daelen, and Linu (I take her along when it's undead time, always nice to have a Cleric then, though wish I had made a Mace of Disruption for her in Ch 1.)
Question, have you downloaded and installed the Henchman AI upgrade scripts? If not these vastly increase the usability of your henchmen, plus it comes with some Monster AI tweaks which makes the game a little more difficult (I play on the real D&D rules setting). If you do get (or already have) the scripts make sure you turn on Wandering Monster AI. The mobs don't hang out in their little rooms anymore. They wander around, and you can end up fighting a LOT of critters at once. I definitely recommend getting this installed before taking on the Caves in the North Road area in Ch 2. I had a lot more fun going through those caves with the critters coming for us instead of waiting nicely in their individual chambers.
Only bad thing when the mobs wanderis sometimes they tend to kill NPC's you want to rescue before you can get to them. ![]()
Back to the original thread...
Yeah, I think removal of armor piercing is a good thing overall. The way AP worked with vulnerabilities was silly anyways. You do more damage against Armor Rating of 0 with a 20% acidresist than you do against Armor Rating 0 with an acid vulnerability, or at least you did when Armor was explained by a Dev way back when. ![]()

Ren, here is a link to the Henchman AI on nwvault.ign.com, if I remember how to do clickies right that is. You can find lots of cool script mods, art mods, and player modules at nwvault.
