I love that those of us looking forward to JTL are so obviously "new to the game." In my case you would be right, but I'm certain that there are lots of others out there who are NOT new to the game and who are looking forward to JTL just as much as I am. Hell, trot on over to the JTL boards to see them gush if you must.
The simple fact of the matter is that, yes, JTL coming out pre-combat balance IS a financial decision. Sony must have something in SWG that can hold customers and keep them from jumping ship to WoW, or the Matrix online or City of Heroes or whatever else happens to come along. What do you expect to accomplish? Do you want them to can JTL and start the long coding process for the combat balance right now? That would result in a great exodus of those not willing to wait around. At least JTL gives us something fun to do. And if it doesn't (i.e. it's bugged all to hell and is clearly going to push the balance back even further) then we should all leave anyway, because we're getting ripped off.
Please don't patronize new players or players of "non-broken" professions by claiming that they don't "understand" why there are those of you who really want to see the combat balance. EVERYONE knows that there are elements of the game that are broken. EVERYONE knows that the GCW is a joke. EVERYONE wants more content and game balance. Grant us some credit for having the intelligence to see the problems with the game and also realize that those of us who do realize this also realize that JTL is a BIG step in the right direction for SWG.
Oh, by the way, you were right. I don't play a broken profession. I play two: Pistoleer and Smuggler.

Interesting. Nothing wrong with a little in-game protest whatever the reason, just be courteous and spread out if things get laggy. And keep the spam down.
I noticed that this wasn't posted in the Sunrunner Player Events July 30th to August 9th thread.

i myself would prefer they actually got the basic game sorted out before JTL but they feel that we all want JTL i think JTL is going to be all PVP i dont see how it could not be and for the actual people that want something else will probally get screwed someway later well i always seem to get screwed over (ex-ch) oh well anyone have any idea how this could be a non pvp thing?
