Most are not flames there just educated explanations about it being poorly done etc. Yes you guys enjoy it and im glad, but just think of how much MORE we could have had and enjoyed it if there was actually some heart put into creating the CU. You dont go to buy a new car if the people in the factory piss poorly put it together and didnt test the safety of it and all. You will die and you get to be the test. Well thats us for swg. We are the paying tester. Hopefully they will begin to make changes to the CU to save the game. Im still hopefull but im not sure if my hope is warranted.






I'm not disputing you on this. The CU should have been tested a little longer, and it probably would of avoided all the negativity that surrounds it now. But this is not the first time they've done this sort of thing. in fact there wouldn't be an issue with CU or not had they just tested this game a little longer before they released it. I was in the orginal beta and we told them to keep the game in beta for a while, but as always we lost.

I have to say that I agree - I'm a real old timer who came back to try it out again and I am loving it. (more than a few kinks to work out, but its a lot better than it was)


I was overjoyed to respec from the BH dabbler template i had taken in desperation back into a pure master pistoleer/ranger...tons of fun...

Huh, I guess I just can't grasp the CU; it seems to me that we cannot pve unless we have a bigass pet. We do fair in a group but I cannot find groups I like on the hours I have to play. I actualy feel that we are worso off than we were before, bu tI may just be slow catching on if so, please somebody tell be how to be sucessful PvE.

I PVE just fine. I even managed to actually kill some stuff in the dwb yesterday without needing a tkm/doc tanking the thing. You definately cant just charge down a lair and have everything aggro on you but be invinvible anymore, you have to think. Its like the old days before massive doc buffs, but more varied and fun and special moves dont incap anymore which is very very nice.

i was a master pistoleer with bountyhunter b4 the cu...it rocked. now i can beat just about anyother template even with the short range that pistols gives us. i <3 pistoleer. seems like they made out alright in the CU. just with most of my pistols lived though the convertion.

I love it, I can solo Ancient Krayts with just Master Pistoleer and some Elite Medic trees, with a couple of other people about you can take on pretty much anything.


The CU has unlocked high end PvE for every profession and combat now requires skill and tactics rather than spamming your highest damage move with a high AP weapon.


There are a few issues though, but nowehere near the amount that were in the old version.

I love the CU too


I love my 2 lines in pistoller.......


But the nerf calling has already begun for stoping shot by the mele only types....................


Lets hope the Devs do not listen.....or tell them to pick up a ranged profession to shoot back..............

Do we no longer get increases/decreases to the damage of our shots for being prone, kneelingor standing? It appears that regardless of our posture the damage is the same.

There has never been a damage bonus for position...only an accuracy bonus...that, I believe, still works...
