Actually Phil it sounds like a gun that should be in the Squad Leader tree. Then a line or two of squad leader could be designed for pistols...BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

what, exactly, is the big hoo-hah about this gun? Can it be crafted? I've looted one, and if I remember correctly, the max damage on it was near 98, and it looks like something from a bad 50's sci-fi film.

So ... what gives?

FYI: someone in another post said that you have to get a NEW one made from a weaponsmith, then it will work. supposedly.

still want to hear WHEN you get the cert.

Um Phil are you sure Fan-shot was not nerfed? could you please re-test this.. From what I see It aggro's them like the old one did but does not AOE.. atleast does not for the % of the time that I used it.. So test this and let me know.

Im a Zabrak Rebel Pistoleer and I don't have the cert.

My Wookie Brawler on TC DOES have the cert, and he isn't even rebel.

mine works, and works really well. on the gun it says im not certed, but on my character it says i am, and im hitting for over 2k with it so it definitely works

So you have the cert but equipping the gun gives you the not certified message? I don't seem to have the cert although I am a rebel staff corporal with master gunfighter status, I own a Blaster but it is at home (since it's been useless since time began).

If I look on the weapon certification section on my character on the skill tree thing, it says I am certified. If I examine the gun itself the gun says I'm not, but it still works so maybe that is just a bug. ALso I believe that you have to have a new gun, one made since the patch came out.

That is correct, my old prepatch Republic Blaster wouldn't work but the one I made today works just fine.
