There are some good PvP'ing guides out there...one on this forum, one in the smuggler forum (triple treat pvp giude)
basicly it comes down to this: there is no one way to be good at pvp, you need to adapt yourself to the situation....and all macro's but CoB are your enemy! yes... ALL!
most important thing you have to remember is to ALWAYS keep you opponent intimidated, and remember, you can stack intimidates if you land em in even pairs.
vs. melee/jedi I try to apply all states..But here's a lil rundown (but still ALWAYS intimidate)
Rifleman/pistoleer/carbineer/commando: blind most important
Fencer: Stun most important
Swordsman/pikeman: dizzy and KD/lunge after initimidate
a lot of people open with a KD/Dizzy then spam UH3 = WRONG
if you int/stun a person you have lowered their defenses a lot and you'll have a bigger chance of sticking the KD PLUS you don't waste any attack turns when their down to int
Did I mention an intimidated person not only deals out less damage, but also takes more damage?

All I use is a COB macro and an unarmed states macro.
Dizzy
Blind
Stun
It makes it a lot easier than hitting the 3 buttons.
Great for draining force too.

Always lead with States attack first....then follow up with a KD or Lung, then maintain the dizzy if you get the knockdown... then use your killing attack onwhat ever pool is the weakest.
I do use a macor butwith States (that begin & end with Imtimidate)...but thats just me you don't need macros, just make sure you haveall the hot keys you need for battle.

CoB and Stand macros.
All states or just some depending on what profession Im dueling. Vs another TKM I intimidate/dizzy/KD(or lunge). If the person gets up before the timer on the KD has reset then I just spam WC until I can do another one.
I always stand as far away as possible from the melee target. Any ranged and I try to be 3-0m away from them.
But remember that intimidate and dizzy are important. Dizzy because even if you dont get him/her down you get him/her afraid that you might KD and holm em down. It alone can make people run.

Stick em with intimidate, followed by blind, stun, then KD Dizzy. After that I hit em with a combo or pool specific moves, maybe an UA3 but not so much. Oh I have a macro looping COB and have macros setup to cure states incase I get hit with a dizzy or int myself.

i am with phlat-line....i have a start pvp macro and a state macro. other than that...pvp is too dynamic to count on using macros as each opponant is different.

First off always use a Geo pistol in pvp, cuz odds are in your favor that they do not have stun layered armor. Then i stick torso shot on em a couple of times, then i just either go eye shot (cuz i got master bounty pistols as well) or stopping shot. Fan shot for multiple people. Torso shot is great against unbuffed people, because it can stick em with 100-400 burn and that can kill them quick, even if you get killed they may tripple incap (i did this to a guy tonight). Oh and pistol melee 1 is great and so is suppression fire to keep melee types away from you.

/unarmeddizzy
/unarmedblind
/unarmedstun
That should do it for a macro.

Start off with a quick kd dizzy, see if it works or not (damage multiplier if it does)
macro goes...
blind, stun, warcry2, intim2
Kd dizzy lunge again.
Rework depending on the stun/blind and intim working, but intim normally works as you have 20 secs to land it.
then I just beat them down.
Ahh I love stacking

warcry2
peace
(chill for a sec as they cant attack to compose yourself, and give the element of suprise as the music will stop for them)
intimidate
Screaming Squill
Aryx Slaxh
Gundark Slap
Charging Wampa
(then target the weakest HAM pool)
use either: Rancor Rising, Gronda Stomp or Nexu Grin
i hardly ever use Spitting Rawl as its too random...
