It's more of a core issue than Pistol specific, although it does effect us.

I think they need to lower all damage but that on Master Level weapons not as much as on CL certified. EVeryone's damage output is too high (at least in PvP) so people "nuke" each other too fast and it only is a healing/mind managing thing. In PvP crowd control is not really as useful as it should be.

But I agree on the fact that weapons with stricter requirements (Master Box vs Combat Level) should have an advantage, they shoud be better to balance the issue with everone having a capped Laser Rifle and a capped Featherweight FWG5.

In addition to this I think it might be a good thing to "define" the simple combat professions (Pistoleer, Carbineer, Rifleman) better by giving out not general ranged but special mods. So everyone really sees if he uses a Pistol or something else.

Plus I'd like to see SAC raised on Weapons and put "SAC Bonus" in the profession trees (with the biggest part of it in the Master Box). Example:
All pistols have SAC min of 90 but a Master Pistoleer gets SAC bonus so it goes down to 65. This way people who concentrate on their weapon/profession have an advantage above dabblers. (The same principle could for example be applied to give a Master CM better healing than a cm 4000: The Master gets bonus on Action and mind costs.
Give people rewards for Master boxed in SAC and Mindcost bonus, maybe some will pickup Master Medic then. Or Master Marksman.
