The Master Pistoleer has gained significant improvements in short-range firearms along with a series of special abilities for nearly every situation.

Master Bounty Hunter can effectively track down and eliminate almost any opponent.

Bounty Pistol Specialization IV brings the bounty hunter do dealy understanding of pistol weaknesses and strengths. A Bounty Hunter with this level of pistol training should never be provoked, unless one favors an early retirement.

First off you lost this duel... Why? Because you quoted something from the skill tree and we ALL know how accurate that information is.

Now you can post this on your boards so the other morons out there will finally get it through there head.
We spend the below to master pistoleer.

Skill Points: 158 of 250 used. (63.2%)
Experience needed
Apprentice 620(0.01%)
Combat 415,000(9.64%)
Pistol 3,891,000(90.35%)

Total EXP 4,306,620

You spend the below to master your tree.
Skill Points: 33 of 250 used. (13.2%)
Experience needed
Apprentice 1,860(0.05%)
Bounty Hunter 34,000(0.83%)
Carbine 1,291,000(31.42%)
Combat 70,550(1.72%)
Heavy Weapons 1,200,000(29.21%)
Pistol 1,291,000(31.42%)
Rifle 91,000(2.21%)
Scouting 62,000(1.51%)
Trapping 31,000(0.75%)
Wilderance Survival 36,000(0.88%)

Total EXP 4,108,410

Now look at the trees closely, we spend 2.5+ MILLION more experience in the pistol then you do. If you as a bounty hunter go head to head using a pistol against a pistoleer you should loose. You can not dispute this. Logic dictates he who spends the most time learning the weapon is BETTER at it then you. You spend points learning other weapons and investigation so you can track people down. I don't care about skill points, there is only a limit on skill points because if there was not people would try and master everything.
The real problem is the best weapon of any bounty hunter is his mind and unfortunately soooo many of you are unarmed.

Look at the movies and ask yourself a couple of questions.
Did Bobo (the best BH in all the galaxy) try and take Han on head to head... Nope
Did he have trouble taking out Luke who was not great with a pistol... Yes
Did he jump in the middle of the fight at Jabbas.... Nope
He was smart, and did not rush into things like an idiot.
It boggles me to think that because you spent time learning carbine, lightening cannon, investigation, and pistol the lot of you think you should win any fight.

The reality is you should lose any duel you enter against a specialist with his chosen weapon. Use your mind and put the hunt in your favor.

Don't you guys ever get tired of talking about this. Litteraly pistoleers and BH b**ch more at each other then about how to improve their class. I mean come on you guys have had the same arguement going on since the games release and shown the same crap to one another over and over again. I would think after 6 weeks of play you would eventualy get to the point of talking about how to fix a class, rather then constantly gripe about another. Also who cares, lets say BH gets nerfed even more. Pistoleers are only realy hurting themselves if BH gets nerfed more. Why you ask ? Because 90% of pistoleers also take the BH pistol line too. So trying to weaken the BH line is in effect hurting yourselves.

This is the nature of "class balance" discussions. It's always back and forth without end. After a certain point it becomes humorous to just sit back and watch. It's a guilty pleasure kind of thing ... like watching soap operas or reality TV.

I don't care what your points are, there are many valid points on both sides.

The fact is that by design BH is an expert at killing, not only good with a weapon. The pistoleer advantage is that they can have many professions, and that is the real balance.

And btw, for your information, because many of you are ignorant, a BH can still KD spam from 64 meters away. So basically, as soon as a BH gets his first shot in, the duel is over. All that's needed is good macros and a cdef carbine.

Sad but true.

Also, if you had read your profession's description before playing maybe you would have realised that pistoleers aren't the all mighty power of the galaxy. Commandos and BH are.

Bounty hunters should be one of the toughest professions to take down. Pistoleers can add a lot of skills to their profession such as Creature handling and medic skills, so on and so forth. Yet...Pistoleers should be the best pistol users, does that not make sense? Seems to me Bounty Hunters want to be able to beat a master pistoleer with their pistol, they want to beat a master carbineer with a carbine, and they want to beat a master rifleman with a rifle. Heh.

You are a hybrid. You are jack of all trades (in this case weapons) and a master of NONE. You have great specials and mods. This is all fine and dandy, the way it should be. But cmon, you got better pistol skill mods and pistols than a master pistoleer with 1/3 of the experience? Please...Im a pistoleer, I won't even attempt to duel you with a carbine or rifle. That is where you win, you use the right weapon for the right battles....but nooo, you want to be 3 elite professions all rolled into one.
