Thread: Rifleman faster then pistoleer???
I am getting smoked by rifleman when it comes to killing large beast or hard enemies. I am a Master Pistoleer.
I shoot for like 1.5K-4.3K with a 2.0 gun.
They shoot a huge rifle with strafe shot doing almost a minimum of 2.5K damage up to over 5K.
For everytime I shoot they shoot twice.
If I use a 1.0 speed blaster, they shoot the same speed as me...
What is the deal here. I thought rifles had delays on them mostly greater than those of our blasters.

the only thing devs realised so far was riflemen weren't able to hit every time they shoot, so now they are also 3 times more accurate than us, hitting for 5 to 10 times what we can...faster than us.
and guess what ? they still whine cause now, we can dodge their 6k hits...

In theory:
1) Pistols hit very fast for only a little damage
2) Carbines hit medium speed for medium damage
3) Rifles fire very slowly for a whole lot of damage
In reality:
1) Pistols hitfast foronly alittle damage
2) Carbines hit fast for medium damage
3) Rifles hit fast for a whole lot of damage
Our edge used to be accuracy, but no longer. But hey, that's okay, because we have dodge that gets us killed.

dodge has saved my ass so much since the new patch. it's totaly sweet now.

BS, no you don't. hard cap at 1 second on firing, NO MATTER WHAT, END OF STORY.
No you don't. First of all you don't fire twice a second. We all know that. There is a 1.0 second firing rate speed cap, and you are the last person to find out about it. Second of all you don't fire for 5k pve; it simply isn't possible. Stopping shot (what, are you stacking BH/Pistoleer?) is a x5 multiplier, which means you have a 1,000 average base damage Scatter Pistol. Third of all, you are a bounty hunter.
Don't bring your garbage here. Go fix your investigation line.
he probably isn't a bounty hunter though, probably just another of the cookie cutter master pistoleer/bounty pistol guys.
are you playing on test center? because on the regular servers speed cap is 1 second. the devs have talked about some speed changes, making the speed caps different for different weapons, but unless I'm horribly mistaken (and I'm pretty sure I'm not, I read the november patch notes cover to cover and didn't see any mention of it) such changes have NOT gone live.

That hardly counts if the opponent was knocked down. I don't even want to tell you the numbers I've seen my rifleman friend put up after an opponent was knocked down.
