I'm sick and tired of people trolling and complaining all of the time. I have to admit those that go about it in a sound and constructive manner are the reasons we've had some really good progress with the pistoleer profession.

Our dodges and other defenses are up and that every little bit helps. Stopping shot, fanshot, and double tap all work really really well. Our accuracy and speed mods are all working very nicely, and now our melee defenses are up to par. We have a lot to be proud of and a lot going for us.

Saying this, I know we still have a long way to go, but things are happening and for that we should be happy and appreciative. Pistoleer is a great compliment to any other elite/hybrid profession and I hope everyone continues to try and become a Jedi over pistoleer because I think it is one of the greatest kept secrets in the game.

Well the defense increases were definilty nice. The specials need some work, to many dont really do anything.

But I do love my pistols and its a great addition to smuggler.

yeah the profession in pve is great. Nothing to complain about.

The only time people complain is in terms of PvP (and the broken skills heh). In PvP a pure pistoleer has no chance against any other pure combat dedicated profession (rifleman, carbinier, bounty hunter and commando).

With a smuggler/pistoleer combo this has made my avatar quite capable in both PvE and PvP.

Other profs don't have it so bad neither you know...of course, whining a Master Pistoleer Torso Shoted and Eye Shoted a poor defenseless (thus broken ?) Novice Rifleman is pure logic...

You can't...and feel happy, you were going to be shot in flames on this one cause you're not right...not so wrong than before patch but still completely wrong, figure...

If my stopping shot doesn't get you, my bile drenched quenkers will. ;-)

master CH, master pistol is working quite well for me.

Using a pet in pvp grants no honor at all, just easy and unfair victory.

I do agree : last patch brought some nice bug fixes. Our melee defenses did improve and dodge is really working. I had a good time this weekend hunting some rebels and seeing my character, which is a not yet a master pistoleer, dodged a lot.

I would like to see now 2 main things fixed :
- Bodyshot 3 : please make it more efficient than bodyshot 2.
- Give us our Elite Pistol : DX2 is supposed to be but most of us r using FWG5 pre-nerfed or republic blaster pistols. But both of them are awailable to all none pistoleers

Well, to finish with a positive note, I saw quite an improvement in the communication with Devs during the past month. Let's hope this will continue.

I have to make a rebuttle on this post I made some time ago. I think Pistoleer is so pathetic and I'm afraid they will never give us any love because of the TKM, Master Pistoleer, and Master Smuggler Template. My answer to this is look at the Master Brawler, Master Swordsman, Master Teras Kasi, 3,0,4,0 Fencer, Novice Medic! This template is one of the top 3 if not top 2 templates in the game as far as brute tanking and power is involved. Don't hold back Pistoleer because it can be put with Smuggler and Teras Kasi at the same time!!

Why is this post even being responded to now? It was written about SIX (6) months ago. Can we say completely out of date?
