Just a thought,


How about a disarming attack similar to Smuggler.


We can knock a weapon out of someone's hand at lets say 15m (like Lunge 2).

You're kidding right ? I think knocking them down where they can't get up for 30 seconds has the same effect.

#1 Disarming attack isn't smuggler, it's a pistoleer skill.


#2 It's broke, it dosen't do anything but next to no dmg (it does less dmg than the default attack).


#3 Bad idea, and I wouldn't imagine how they'd implement it, and I'm glad they won 't.

I think he's talking about panic shot where you get delayed for 10 seconds. You already have one and it's called warcry. It has better than a 15m range too.

It does 2x damage to lairs.

It could simply force players to unequip their weapon for about 5 seconds and it could be on the same timer that the delay moves are on. It wouldn't be difficult for the enemy to re-equip, but would give us a few seconds to beat on them before they recover their weapon

i think disarming shot damages thier weapon significantly, but someone just told me this so im not sure if its true?

When I was pistoleer, I tested disarming shot with a friend. We didn't notice any damage done by disarming shot. If it does any damage then it isn't significant. This was about 3 months ago so they may have changed it.



Anyway, I don't know why you'd want a 5 second delay to be on the same timer as warcry which is 10 or 20 seconds depending on your Brawler skill. I know it isn't a TKA skill but you have something that'll do what you want.

I tested disarming shot 1 and 2 with a friend about a week ago. After spamming each shot about 10 times, there was no change in my weapon's condition. it is still broken.


As far as a TKA disarming move i had this same thought. put it on a 30 second timer or whatever, and just make it put the weapon back in their inventory so they have to reequip it. that's all it would take and i think it would be neat. but alas it wont be implemented because everyone says tka are too powerful anyways, but really it's just that they suck at their own professions and probably came up against a few tka that didn't suck at theirs....

Has anyone else been using this much?

To me it seems like it is a complete waste. I use it, do very little damage, and by the time I can do another attack my enemy is already firing back at me.

It just doesn't seem to last long enough to be an effective state attack.

Set it as your default and let it cycle while you regen. You can also use it after a KD and hit for a bit more damage and negate KD Recovery, as long as it keeps sticking.

I tried using it, and testing it yesterday, and believe that it is brooken. I could never get it to delay any attacks from ranged or melee characters.
