Thread: Nerf the jeezus out of Pistoleer!
Make elite combat professions require near the same skill points as a BH and I will be happy.
A master pistoleer/master CH is WAY overpowered. A master pistoleer/master combat medic is WAY overpowered. Only fix is to raise the skill points or seriously decrease damage output and remove KD completely from the class.
Thank You
Iebo did you loss a duel? yes
Should BHs be the most uber? no
Are pistoleers your friends? no
Thats all I have to say
2. BHs should be more powerful than a Pistoleer that has only spent his 92pts in combat. He should be EQUAL to a pistoleer who has spent 92 pts and another 125pts in a complimentary combat skill(s)
3. I'm not out to make friends with people who whined about my class =)
All knockdowns need reworked. No one should be able to spam KD moves and it can still be done.
Ie. Pistol Whip can still be spammed, I can spam it still. I say put a timer on all KD moves not increased hams.
I have never whinned about your class I have killed quite a few BHs.
As far as Im concerned you are doing to others what you didnt want done to you so maybe youshould think about that before you post nerf others posts. The pistoleer isnt uber by any means yea we're good but so are almost all of the other classes in one way or another. You choose bounty hunter I hope you have fun with it. Please let us have fun with our class.
I don't want Pistoleer broken, I just want it in line with the skill points and the superior diversity they are afforded by being able to master other powerful complimentary skills. Namely Combat Medic and Creature Handler which are pretty overpowered in and of themselves.
NEWS FLASH GENIUS...BH missions suck, they COST money to do...they are nothing but uber-difficulty pay-to-play destroy missions. Woopty-friggin-doo.
I am not saying I want to BETTER. I want to be EQUAL.
A BH should be EQUAL to a Pistoleer/Master CH or Pistoleer/Master CM or Pistoleer/[insert complimentary combat profession here].
"A BH should be EQUAL to a Pistoleer/Master CH or Pistoleer/Master CM or Pistoleer/[insert complimentary combat profession here]. "
If you're saying an MBH should be equal to any pistoleer + complementary combat profession then you're a hypocrite. I'm a Master Pistoleer with some of the bounty hunter skills and I spent all my points on that. Meanwhile a Master Bounty Hunter has 33 points left to spend in medic or CH skills as he pleases. So the table is turned there, you should be worse than me in combat. How do you feel about that eh?
Just to clarify, since it's obvious that SunTzu doesn't keep up with the BH changes...
There is *NO* BH mission content. You don't get scatter pistols and...what other cool weapons? Did I miss the part where BH got "other cool weapons"? I agree that no class should be "the most important class in the game" however I must say that pistoleers are already more powerful than BH and currently have quite a few advantages over us.
"You want to hunt bountys and be really good at finding and killing things then go bounty hunter." - Apparently someone has never tried to be a bounty hunter. We are no longer good at finding and killing things. That's the problem. If I were to make a wild guess as to why this thread was started, it's because currently Pistoleers are wanting stuff like dual wield and little moves and stuff for their class (which is already too powerful compared to most others) and BHs just got a really bad nerf that kills a whole tree (and somewhat 2 trees, in fact) of our profession.
As for the pistoleer who said something about also being a BH, you aren't really much of a BH if you just picked up our pistol line. However, you do prove a point that the pistol line is currently the only working thing in the BH profession and that's why you got it. Your attempt at making the other guy appear wrong actually hurt your argument.
So to summarize, we're currently a 1/4 working profession and while other classes are getting responses about stuff to make them more powerful (i.e. dual wield for pistoleers) we have yet to actually receive any official response to any of the problems/nerfs this new patch added for our profession.
I'm sure if you were in the same situation (which you're obviously not as a pistoleer) you'd probably be just as frustrated.
