I am not saying we should be better then Bounty Hunters at combat in general, I am saying we should be better with PISTOLS then bounty hunters.... Hence the name Pistoleer. Combat ability is determined by the player, skills are determined by the character.

And the fact that you used the word Uber just says your an idiot...

Lets look at it like this... we put 90+ skill points DIRECTLY to PISTOL related trees... Bounty Hunters however have a more generalized skill tree, they have to Master Scout and Marksman to become a Bounty Hunter, thats all well and good... But Scout is non combat, and Marksman is general Combat.

The main thing here is, Bounty Hunters should NOT be better with a pistolthen a Pistoleer...

See the point now? We focus skill points DIRECTLY on pistol related activitys, so master of Pistol makes sense. Why should we master Scouting and Marksman to when we just focus on Pistols...

Pistols are our Specialty. Not Bounty Hunting.

Thank god someone else gets it. BH's are a jack of all trades, ready for anything and hard to exploit. I'm tired of the "BH vs Pistol" arguments that are nothing more than people upset that they can't be the best combatant. The game is designed to be balanced. Once all the bugs are snuffed out, it will be, and it will boil down to how well you can utilize your specific set of tools.

I agree, and I'm a BH. However, BH's should have much more than a good chance at defending themselves vs. pistoleers, or any other elite profession. BH's know about all the weapons, so they should be able to counter them, and be able to give the specialist a very good worry.

The pecking order should be roughly even. The exceptions are that master professions that take more skill points should get a bit more of an edge as a reward for the additional investment.

Alesh, right now, BH's are about as good as a Novice Marksman, the DEV's have a lot of fixing to do, in order to restore us to how we should be.

By all means, someone focusing on only one weapon will obviously have holes in their defenses, and the BH's talent is that they have the tools necessary to exploit that hole.

The DEV's need to impliment things better, though.A lotof the points we spend things on are really useless to us when we actually get to the BH profession.

whatever happed to skill?

It's not the class as much as it's the person behind the class. I took out 5 people in pvp the other night. 2 and one time, and only got hit once in that fight. I'm not a BH nor a pistoleer by name, although i have skills from them. I'm a mutt. I don't use macros, i don't complain when i die. I adapt to the situation. I've changed my skill path over 5 times since the game started.

Get a clue. All of you people who complain, not just a specific class, grow up, get smarter, and try to have fun. If you aren't then try something else. The devs are the gods of this game. They make the laws and rules. Complaining bout what they have done is no bigger than complaining that GOD has delt you a bad hand. Atleast with this game you can quit. Quiting in life is another thing. And i'm beginning to wish some of you do. The gene pool needs alittle more chlorine.

Steegee: I feel dumber from having read your post. Sounds like someone is kissing a little dev booty to get an FS slot perhaps?

you are just another example of a child raised on CS.

In all honesty i don't want to be a jedi. Seeing as they would be near godlike abilities, just doesn't wet my palette. What i said is called reality. You seem to think that just becuase you pay your 15 bucks a month you can dictate the direction of the game. Guess again. This their reality, their world. We are only paying a monthy ticket to visit. You think they'll miss your 15 bucks? Wake up, you are dreaming.

As i said before, more chlorine. Unit, thanks for proving my point with your response.
