Why can't Pistoleers use the Scatter Pistol? It's a pistol, right? I even get Pistol Experience for using it. I can use Bodyshot1, Bodyshot2, FanShot, StoppingShot, HealthShot, with the Scatter Pistol, and all other pistol abilities but we're not certified for it. Why Not?

yep, because it was decided before you even heard about SWG.

This rule is far beyond any logic, this is a choice of the devs.

Devs should really start to notice something :

Yeah, and if bh's are trained so well in the use of pistols...they should also be able to use dx2 i guess.

Scatter pistols are illegal. Bounty Hunters arent law abiding citizens.

You can use the scatter pistol. You just can't use it as well.

There is absolutely nothing to stop a pistoleer from picking up a scatter pistol and firing it. Nothing.

Yes but a pistoleer should be able, by definition, to use ANY weaponclassified asa "Pistol". I mean, the whole point of being a Pistoleer is to gain mastery of PISTOLS... not SOME Pistols, but ALL Pistols, illegal, legal or whatever. It's simple logic: if it's a Pistol, a Pistoleer should know how to work it better than ANYONE.

By what definition. I have a dictionary right here and it says nothing about this.

Scatter pistol is known as BH weapon, if i'm correct it is outlawed in mayne places in galaxy. Think roleplay here for just a minute and you'll figure this out.

Why are we beating this dead horse into the ground.

Let's get _our_ pistol fixed and let the Bounty Hunters have theirs.

Nothing about this game is 100% realistic. I can shoot a fanned rawl (snake) in the leg and store a Dewback in my pocket. As Pistoleers we just need to get all our broken specials fixed and get our weapon (DX2) fixed.
