Thread: Any way to up Damage vs Jedi?
You have5 Options:
a) Become a Jedi/MBH
b) Jump off a cliff
c) Jump off a plane (No parachute included)
d) Jump off the Empire state
d) Get 8k Energy armor, Slice it with 75% Armor Break Resist, Get the Best Breath of Heaven+Vegerspine+Booster Blue+Synth steak(Optional). Have a Doctor Follow you to your Target and Before you get 500m Tell him to Buff you up to your teeth. You already got your weapons so thats all you need to become a Jedi hunter. If you dont have the moeny to do Either Ide suggest you take Options B-D.

Yes I am not crying here. If this is the way it is supposed to be then I can live with that. I was just looking for some advice but I think I have all the bases covered and will just have to stop wasting time VS defenders for sure. I waste his and my time. I have the food and the Armor set up needed. As I said I do not have a problem defending vs Jedi but I do not seem to have the ability to Defend and do damage to some of the Full temps out there.
I guess I can just not coninue fighting a MDef/MLS Jedi once I see the buffs pop up or switch to Rifles which I do not really want to do. I think the problem with Pistols is that Rifles and other Ranged weapons fire to fast. Pistol advantage should be speed? but since we have lag and timers on specialstheweapon speeddoes not help to increase damage up to the level of Rifles.
I see a Rifle hitting for 1200 in 2 seconds and a Pistol firing twice for 600 in those same two seconds but it doesnt work out that way in combat in game with lag and specials timers.
I suppose they could fix it (if it needs fixed) by increaseing the rate of fire/decreasingSAC for specials with pistols.
Let me know if you have anypistol type strats that could help me out.
you have 2 possiblities to up your damage:
increase your accuracy (food)
lower his defense (warning shot and dizzy work best)
I alwats try to keep warning, dizzy, blind and intimidate on the jedi
yup. that's clearly documanted:
your acc 750 higher than his defence max damage for every hit
his defence 750 higher than your acc: min damage for every hit
but I don't agree acc is the best way, with only TWO shots I can lower a jedi's defense by 160, to up you accuracy that much you would have to take deuterium pyro, and at +160 it still only lasts about 1 minute

ok.... first off... your dot's are not ticking for 400 alone... but combined they will tick for between 400-700 thats 200-350 depending on if your using enhancers and how good a stick it is....
also, warning shot is pretty much pointless.... but intimidate is a must... as well as i am curious why you went dot's instead of debuffs... i would think thyroid and paralyze would be much more usefull to you
but oh well

I will help you out. Your first problem is pistols. A very good FWG 5 will get you 350-900 damage. The only thing that matters in PvP is min damage. Against a MDEF or anyone with just a little Defense the best you can hope to do in PvP with lvl 80 v lvl 80 is your min damage*1.3. You will only be able to do 30% damage over your min. I hope that you are now seeing the problem with pistols.
If you get yourself the 8% sliced proton carb your min damage is almost 500 +90 for cold damage. Taking into effect the damage reduction for PvP here is how the two guns stack up.
