As far as I know, bleeds no longer stack.

I could be wrong though...

Bleeds do still stack...

You won't see 2 seperate Bleed DOTs for Health Shot 1 and 2, but they do stack..... if you use a modified Rep Blaster youcould get 3 bleed DOT's, and of course BleedingShot if you are BH would make it 4

This might be a little off topic but can someone post a good macro for me to start fighting a creature (or toon) that would include the two bleeds. I haven't used a fighting macro and would like to try, and I'm not really sure what other shots to use. I've been told to Spam HS2 after PMD and HS1. Thanks!

Here's your Apply Bleed macro:

/ui action toolbarPaneXX

/ui action toolbarSlotYY

/ui action toolbatPane00

/HealthShot1;

/BleedingShot;

/BleedingShot;

/BleedingShot;

/ui action toolbarPaneXX

/ui action toolbarSlotZZ

/ui action toolbarPane00

You want to pick a tool bar pane (using CTL+F#), and stick a Modified Republic Blaster Pistol in one of the slots. I use tool bar pane 05 (CTL+F6) and put all my pistols there. Let's say your favorite pistol for PvP is your uber-sliced, krayt-enhanced Genosian Sonic Blaster, okay? Yeah, we all want one. So, put that Geno pistol in the first tool bar slot (00) on pane #6 (or 05, as it would appear in the macro because the game counts starting at 00, not 01.) Then put your Modified Republic blaster right next to it on the second toolbar slot (01).

What the macro above is going to do is quickly switch from your main toolbar pane (I've assumed you use the first one, or the same as hitting CTL+F1.... it's your default toolbar pane) to the sixth (in this case toolbarPane05), equip the Modified Republic blaster pistol on the second slot (toolbarSlot01), and then switch back to your first Pane (toolbarPane00).

So, assuming you put your Modified Republic Blaster pistol in the correct slot (Pane #6 = toolbarPane05, Slot #2 = toolbatSlot01), the macro then looks like this:

/ui action toolbarPane05---|

/ui action toolbarSlot01 | <------- Equips Modified Republic Blaster

/ui action toolbatPane00__|

/HealthShot1; ---|

/BleedingShot; | <------- Attacks and applies Bleed effects

/BleedingShot; |

/BleedingShot;__|

/ui action toolbarPane05---|

/ui action toolbarSlot00 | <------ Equips Geno Pistol

/ui action toolbarPane00 __|

So now your Modified Republic Blaster Pistol (with a phat 150-damage Health bleed) is equipped and ready to DOT-stack, right? Now the macro starts shooting at your target. HealthShot1 is first. It applies the weakest of the bleeds you have at your disposal, but every bit helps, right? Next is BleedingShot. The reason I've included it three times is because BleedingShot is a random pool attack, and it will stick a bleed to whichever pool it hits. So if it hits Action, it will apply an Action Bleed. Action bleeds are not very useful to you, to say the least, so with three hits, the odds are very good that you will hit Health at least once and stick a bleed to it.

Once you have finished the first three bleeds (after four shots, you will have VERY MOST LIKELY have also stuck the bleed from your Modified Republic blaster as well), the macro then references Pane #6 (toolbarPane05) again, and this time references Slot #1 (toolbarSlot00), which is where you placed your Genosian Sonic Blaster. The last three lines will switch from your Republic blaster to your Geno blaster, and once your Geno is equipped, you will spam HealthShot2 for the rest of the fight, most likely (except for the occasional Suppression Fire to bring you target down to his knees so you can run up to him and put him on his back with Pistol Whip). Also, don't forget to use EyeShot intermittently to apply a blind state to your opponent as well. Against Carbineers and Riflemen Blind is most effective in averting their attacks.

A little trick I occasionally like to use (since I'm a BH, therefore Master Marksman) is to equip a Carbine briefly and fire off a few FullAutoSingle1's at my opponent to apply a Dizzy state right before using Suppression Fire and Pistol Whip. It's not the most efficient KD-Dizzy in the game, but if you feel like you need it, that's an option for you. I just put a Carbine in a toolbarSlot in toolbarPane05 (with all my pistols), and create a macro similar to the one above to equip it and fire FullAutoSingle1three or four times, and then switch back to my main weapon (Geno), then use Suppression Fire, and then Pistol Whip. If your target is a meleer and you've been kiting all along, you may be able to do without the Suppression Fire. I only use it if I'm having trouble getting in close enough to my target to hit him with Pistol Whip (PistolMeleeDefense1, by the way).

Anyway, that's my macro.Hope it helps!

EDIT: This macro assumes that you've got BH Pistols 1: BleedingShot. If you don't have BleedShot, simply remove the /BleedingShot lines from the Macro and continue. You don't need to put HealthShot2 in your macro since you're going to be spamming it the whole fight anyway. Without BleedShot, you'll get three bleeds from HS1 and 2, and the Mod Republic blaster.

Good macro.

If you have the full lines of Pistol from Smuggler and Bounty Hunter, it gets even better since you can add Torso Shot (a Health pool burn) and Low Blow (a ranged KD).

May the Force be with you.

Hehe, thanks.

I also created "Equipping Macroes" for my weapons. I put my pistols all on the top row of toolbarPane05 and created macroes like the first, second and third lines of the above macro. Then, I titled them "EquipScout," "EquipFWG5," "EquipGeno," EquipModRep," "EquipKraytScout," "EquipKraytFWG5," "EquipScatter," "EquipDX2," etc., etc.

Then I just used /alias to shorten what I had to type to activate each macro (/macro equipkraytfwg5 is a little long to type in combat, don't you think?) So, I have /es aliased to /macro equipscout, and /eks aliased to /macro equipkraytscout.

I find those EXTREMELY handy in a firefight. Frees up toolbar space on my main panel so I don't have to clutter it with pistols, and can fill it with handy foods, stims, specials, etc. Also, having a /clearCombatQueue macro is also very helpful for me, let me tell you!

I'll repost it again, because it's that usefull

Silent call

/prone;
/healthshot2;
/healthshot1;
/healthshot2;
/pause X;
/peace;
/stand;

The value of X should be EXACTLY how long it takes you to fire off the 3 bleeds, and no longer. You DO NOT want a 4th blaster bolt to leave your gun.

From prone you get 3 "free" shots before a MOB notices that you are attacking.

Get to 60m away from your target and run silent call, as soon as you peace and stand run back another 15-20m and wait. The MOB you bled will come to you alone, ditching his buddies, as soon as the bleeds start to tick. A great way to stack up your bleeds and isolate a single target from a goup.

WARNING: If you do this store your ride. %90 of the time if the MOB can't see you, it will just wreck your ride because for some reason it can find that no problem. Many speeder bikes died to bring you this info

But seriously, I'll have to try this out... But why HS2? Why not HS1, HS2, and BleedShot, all with a Mod Rep blaster?

Because I'm not a BH

Arguably you could go with 1/2/1 as you will be spamming 2 in combat you would ideally like the highest possible value for 1.

But I'd rather get as much damage done "outside" of combat as possible.

If I was BH pistols4 it'd be hs2, bleeding shot, hs1 and torso spam for the win

Understood. I only have BH Pistols 2, so I don't use Torso shot... It's either First Aid 2, or BH Pistols 2. If I take BH Pistols 4, I have to drop FA 2, and then I lose the ability to cure bleed... which is what this thread is all about, lol.

btw if you have /aim its not bad to throw that in your macro guys...I know not many take that line but some still have it!
