Ok, Im a master pistoleer with some BH 3-0-4-0 to be exact. Well, every Republic Blaster I look at says I am not qualified to use??? Even the balsters I have been using, on the line that states wheather or not your qualified to use this weapon, it states "No" I first noticed it last night when shopping for a new scatter pistol, the vendor had some nice Rep Blasters on it and when I check them I got what I stated above. I didn't buy them thinking they (or me) might be bugged.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this.

newly made ones should be fine

What do you mean? They have never said it before. At least I haven't ever noticed it...did something change recently? The Blaster that's in my inventory never said it before to my knowledge.

noone has a cert for the republic blaster, but anyone (even non-marksman) can use the weapon without a damage reduction.

I too am certified for Republic Blaster.

No clue why, or how, or when, but I am.

No help when I use one, as all of them do say "No" under certs, but doesn't hurt that I can see.

Ok everyone has the cert, but its not on ANY skill, its a wierd bug.

Hey Fathom,

How do you like the master pistol/ Bh pistol tree combo? I am seriously considering that path, and any insight you could give would be most appreciated.

have the same issue. it's in my cert. list, but if I try to equip it it says that icent use it and damaged would be reduiced.

I used stopping shot to hit a meatlump right after I bought it and only did 13 points of damage. that sux

*raises hand* I have a Republic Blaster certification. Don't know where I got it, but I have one. It's listed with all the others.

Like stated above, only newly crafted ones (since bugfix)work correctlynow.

I think some races get certification from the start of player creation, while others do not (like Zabrak) so it does not show in certs window.

ps, love my republic blaster with 87-327 damage powered up. Just make sure to be in the right range.

Then it's a pre-fix Republic Blaster you have. Any RB's made after the fix will not give you that message. They'll still say you're not certified when you examine the weapon, but you won't be penalized for using it.
