Hello everyone. I have been a master pistoleer/smuggler, with some medic, for about a month now. I would like to make alot of credits. I have 70% kinetic ubese armor, average fwg5 and dx2 pistols, and no AAs or CAs. I went to Dantooine buffed and tried Mokk missions but I died. They were hitting me for around 200 hp everytime. I tried rancors on Dathomir next but had the same luck. I can run faction missions easily but they don't offer the big payouts. Any of you have any advice, pointers or am I just that sorry.

Get some composite if you want to solo the big stuff. You should use foods too, synthsteak and brandy are my fav's. You can also make credits as a master smuggler by slicing, it just takes a bit of patience and a good raport with your clientelle.
Good luck!

and go buffed!
sad to say but the tough mobs require you to go buffed.

Mokks are for melee, they have 60 % elec, acid, and energy resists. A good Republic blaster would help out. Then do janta missions on Datooine or Enraged Rancor missions with buffs... need the buffs.

Just get buffed, comp armor, and a geo, then try the janta. i tried them today and got my but kicked but im still a novice, with a good gun you should do fine. Or try rancors, not bull rancors or enraged rancors with a geo

You're doing just about everything right... you are simply using the wrong gun!
As soon as I could use a Geno blaster, I invested in one and used it exclusively all the way to Master Pistoleer (and Smuggler). I paid 200-250k for each of mine, but that can be recouped in 6-8 Mokk or Janta missions.
Remember that these cavemen are tough but they have a glass jaw to stun weapons. And if they are still hitting you hard enough to damage you through the buffs... get better buffs! 2000-point buffs won't do, go for 2400s even if it takes more time and money.
Kinetic Ubese is acceptable armor (as long as you've got 70s or more to resist), but I've discovered a hidden benefit to Composite. Even if the resists are comparable, you will get far fewer wounds when wearing Comp. With Ubese, I'd finish a 3-hour session with 30 or more wounds to each stat (many more if they landed a bleed on me). When wearing composite, I only took wounds to the primary stats, and even with bleeds only had a dozen or so wounds to Health, Action and Mind after the same amount of time.
Here's my recommended outfit for successful Dantari hunting. Out of a city with Improved Job Market, I can net 700k credits and 550k pistol xp in the 3 hours my buffs last:
Kinetic Composite at 80%, sliced for encumbrance (you'll lose less HAM to specials this way, and kinetic is all that matters against cavemen).
BE shirt and bandolier with bonuses to Melee and Stun Defense
Good Vasarian Brandy (over 400 to stats, 50 filling or less, around 45 minute duration)
Canape (the ones I use are 33 filling and give 700-ish to stats, you may need some from time to time because of the mind encumbrance of the armor)
Pikatta Pie to boost your Dodge until you level up in Pistoleer - they can't hurt you if they can't hit you.
Genosian Stun Blaster - Mine was a base of 115-220 and 2.6 speed, give or take a bit. I prefer a damage slice because I had speed mods from BH when I began pistoleer, now that I've mastered it and dropped BH my speed is still sufficient to do most moves at or near the cap. Keep at least one spare at all times.
Powerups to min/max damage - yes, your gun will burn out fast but if you're doing 33% more damage you are working 33% faster - and at the rate you will pull in the credits you can afford to replace the guns when they burn out.
Some of the equipment will be an expensive initial outlay - but when you consider that you can net4 million credits a week just doing these missions for 3 hours each day, it's well worth it. And in that first week, one can earn enough pistol and combat xp to master Pistoleer as well. Heck, you could do it in a weekend if you played all day.
Another tip - don't just stand there and take the hits. Run through the camp and tag each one of them to get aggro... then kite them along behind you and kill them with Fan Shot. May be cheesy, but it is better than taking the beatings!
Good luck to you - now get out there and give those trogs some payback!

I would get in a Dant solo group and head over to Dathomir and take enraged rancor missions if you have good armor, buffs, and a decent Republic Blaster. I don't know how the pay is compared to Mokks, but if you do the rancors, don't get scared if 4 go on you at once.

I have the same template as you accept for some TK. I use 72-75% kinetic resist ubese armor and get buffed with brandy and canape. Even before I had some TK I could do the 30k mokk missions with a damage sliced regular FWG5. I would just work on one mokk at a time.. doing intimidate, and last ditch with health shot 2 when health got low. Now I just use TK spin attack and it gets rid of them quick.
Mokk are vulnerable to heat and janta are vulnerable to kinetic.

Mokk Shaman missions on Dant. They are about 26K and have heat vouln, so use an FWG5 with fanshot. Easy as pie.

Get out of the outposts(mining, imperial, etc) and go to a city with improved job market.. the missions here give more money. For example a mokk mission could be as much as 32k.. but at least 30k. You should do this for all missions on dant becuase there is no reason to do missions out of the mining outpost.
