Not completely game related, but i will risk my neck to the flame sword, how many of you pistoleers (especially wearing the gunslinger title) are farmiliar with the Dark Tower series by king. If you siad yes, did the books influence your choice of proffesions, it influenced me, in the DY series i found the soul of my character.

Definitly, Gun Slinger isthe best proffesion name in the game. To bad the name Roland was taken

I am a master Ranger/ Master Gunfighter to mimic the traits and skills found in Roland
and I think I found a door in Lowca...

I wear my Gunslinger tag with pride...may still in 50k more XP when I hit master

About 200 pages left in Wolves and so far I'm incredibly impressed. Going to have to go back and do a re-read of the first four and Salem's Lot again.

Yes BeWary I have seen your sig, i ment to send you a pm about it but my broweser was acting up so at the time i couldnt. I was going ranger/pist orginaly, but now i am pist/dirtyfighting/medic/some scout. I do think master ranger is important, but i find that the main problem is that Roland is just too **edit** good to mimic, we dont have enough skill points to cover all of his skills :-). Also if any of you are on Lowca, look me up name is Kenther.

Is this a series of books? Id be interested to know a little more.

Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three

Dark Tower III: The Wasteland

Dark Tower IV: The Wizard Glass

Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla

He's also written may short stories using Roland (The Gunslinger) as his main character. It's sort of Fantasy Western so defiantely not anything like his other books. They all just go re-released in Paperback (except V which is currently hardcover) so they should be no trouble to find.
