Thread: Possible to 1 shot some one next publish?
If you are dueling someone, and they seem to be taking hits and not fighting back, just stop fighting. Last Ditch's use in group PvP is minimal.

Foods won't stack either. I assume drinks are the same; I don't see why it wouldn't be.
For instance, you can't stack multiple health buff foods in top of each other. If you apply one, then apply another, the second one overwrites the first one you applied.
I believe if you have a stronger one applied and you try to apply one that is weaker, it should tell you unable to apply because there is already a stronger buff present or something along those lines, that way you don't accidently eat something that may be a really strong buff (or rare/expensive), but limited use, and overwrite it with something weak.

Only way that Last Ditch can hit for enough to one-hit incap someone is if the person firing the attack has already been fighting and using his action. His health has to be down and his action in order for it to hit at a high enough damage to one hit someone wearing no armor, and un-buffed.
a one shot is impossible using last ditch because of the very nature of the special.
like DigiDante said, you need to have been fighing for some time. you need your health to be just above 0, and you need your enemy's heal to have been worn away quite a bit as well.
anyone who says Last Ditch is a "one shot" or an "i win" button does not know what they're talking about and is only trying to nerf a very valid ability.

I couldn't agree with this post more. Last Ditch works as it should. I had the underworld tree of smuggler just to have access to this ability. It is a crap shoot as to whether or not you can come out on top after using it. You really need to time it perfectly as it saps you down to minimal health. You really need to have done a bit a damage to their health bar and you need to be near incap for it to come off suucessfully. I found this ability to really not suit my playing syle so I gave up smuggler. LD works as intednded and does not need a nerfing.
Hahah! What a great idea, 'tis genius.

having a CM poison, fire, etc on you for health reduction ( no disease as the wounds will only incap yourself during the LD )
once health is within 25-50 range remaining ( using a 502-1163 dmg scatter 361 base dps 650 mod )
I have landed a shot at 6k dmg for a one shot incap on a jedi knight.
The issue brought up about the BH/Jedi is not a Last Ditch issue, but a BH being guaranteed the first strike issue. That would be a silly tactic to use if the Jedi could initiate combat with the BH, as they'd just smack you when you were low enough in health that they could incap you with one shot.
In this case, the special is working as intended, but the BH is borderline exploiting the BH/Jedi mission system.

Nope, I'd say he's well over the border on that one.
