I'd like to say something about bounty hunters. The reason why I think they are overpowered is because they get there best attacks with out having to master there proffesion. As a bounty hunter you should have to master the profession befor you get your best attacks like underhand shot and eyeshot ect, I think it's sick that they can get these attacks at level 1 in there tree's. Bounty hunters should have to master there proffession to get there best attacks thats all I ask im tired of seeing novice bounty hunters outdamaging master pistolers/carbiners.

What do you think about pistol whip?

Would you be wiling to move pistol whip to Master Pistoleer?

Dont compare Pistol Whip to eyeshot, Pistol Whip is a melee move and Eye Shot is ranged. As it is right now about the only chance a pistoleer has against a bounty hunter is to pray that stopping shot incaps him or her in one hit, or to run into a building and hope the BH follows them in so they can knock them down with pistol whip.

He mentioned underhand shot did he not?

That is a ranged knockdown similar to your melee knowdown.

A RANGED knockdown is not comparable to a melee knockdown. Tell you what, you pick up pistol whip and then challenge a bounty hunter to a duel... try to rush up to him and pistol whip him once before he knocks you on your ass.

And by the way, it's Einstein not 'Einstine'. Learn to spell if you are going to try to insult somebody's intellect.

My spelling sucks always has always will kinda like my handwriting.

However both are knockdown attacks and THERFORE are comparable.

I guess the real point is what makes you think that you can ask us to move Underhand shot to master, if you are not willing to do the same for one of your knockdown skills?

Bounty hunters get Underhand shot in their first carbine skill box. It takes 150,000 points of carbine weapon experience. Now I'm going to usethe Carbineer knockdown attack for this example, because there are two types of knockdowns; ranged and melee. Pistol Whip is not comparable to Underhand Shot whether or not you would like it to be, because it's much more difficult to knock down a ranged combatant usinga melee move then it is to knock them down using a ranged move.

At any rate - for a carbineer to get their knockdown move they need the first two boxes of the combat experience line. It adds to 150,000 combat experience. Meanwhile a Bounty Hunter has to spend 150,00

Gah, the damned thing timed out or something. Anyway what I was trying to type is that a Bounty Hunter needs 150,000 Carbine weapon experience to get a knockdown equal to if not better then the one a Carbineer would have to spend 150,000 COMBAT experience on.

This is why Pistoleers and Carbineers are irked at Bounty Hunters, because we are supposed to be the 'Masters' of our weapons and yet Bounty Hunters can get better specials then us without spending nearly as much experience.

But you skirt the issue.

You ask for change in ANOTHER class that you would not be willing to happen to YOUR class.

Engaging(sp) a pistol whip is no harder than engaging in an underhand knockdown you only have to be closer. Distance doesnt make it harder so that argument is kaputz. Besides I wasnt compairing underhand shot to pistol whip in a PVP setting you added that context.

Isnt at the moment Pistol Defence I better than II? Shouldnt you have to be Master Pistoleer to use Pistol defence I then?

This is the logic that the orginal poster presented us with. It makes no sense for me to come to your forums and suggest how you should have your skills.

Also you negelected to mention the fact that our class takesFAR more skill points than yours.Skill points are far more valuable than xp will ever be. You can always accure more xp you can never get more SKIL POINTS.

GAH! "Let's move all BH specials to Master so they have to do the Investigation line (must be hardest line in game save for broken commandos) WITHOUT ANY specials!" Well this is.... this is.... BRILIANT!

Yes... but wait... if it is sooooo much easier to get underhand shot then why not drop the profession you currently have and switch? Oh because... that would be too hard? I'm a Pistoleer. Browse the BH forums... yeah most are idiots just like here, but you get a feel for the class.

I didn't say whether or not I agree with the original poster, now did I? No I didn't.

The reason I posted here is because you were seemingly trying to compare Pistol Whip to Underhand Shot, which, INA PVP CONTEXT, are nowhere near alike.

Either way I really dont care any more, more and more people are flocking to the Bounty Hunter because as is right now it's the ultimate cookie cutter pvp profession.

And as for your asking me if I'd want pistol melee defense 1 moved up to master? No I wouldn't, but I didn't say I thought all BH skills should only be attained at Master either, did I? Personally I'm beginning to think knockdowns in general are a joke and should be seriously nerfed when it comes to PvP. Spam knockdown 4Dwinz, yay.

I do agree with the original poster.

I also agree that pistol whip should be a skill of a master Pistoleer.

That would teach you Dabblers on this forum a lot. You would finally realize that becoming a Master BH is more than twice as hard as becoming a Pistoleer master. And maybe the crying for nerf would finally end.
