I posess a well made DX2 without looted components. 106-165 damage, 2.7 speed. It was damage sliced (no powerup).

Should give you an idea of how the vendors you are browsing measure up. It's possible that Scylla hasn't been the recipient of it's fair share of good resource shifts, as I have read posts from other Pistoleers with far superior DX2s.

As I recall, there was a type of gas that is required to make these that doesn't spawn with high stats very often.

Hi all,I've just made novice pistoleer. I'm now dx2 certified.

1. What is a good pistol and what kind of stats it should have for me to grind faster?

2. What kind of npcs I should grind on and where?

Well

, as far as grinding Pistoleer goes there are 2 things you need to know.

ENDOR! (CRIMSON BLURRG MISSIONS)

SPEED SLICED Dx2

As for stats, i asume you meen char stats. Just migrate everything to mind, focus, and will power. Should you have any left evenly distriblute them to the 2ndary stats on health and action. Hope this helps (helped me grind it 3 times)

The tree most go up first is the techniques tree, simply because it gives you the specials that work the most (stopping shot and fan shot) and used to give a good lair killing special (disarming shot1.. but that's fairly useless now too).

Damage mitigation reduces the amount of damage done by your opponent on you by reducing the min-max damage range of their weapon. The higher your mitigation level, the more the damage gets reduced. However, you can't stack mitigation, so if you've got two level 1 mitigations (say from smuggler and pistoleeer) it doesn't count as mitigation 2, just mitigation 1.

You might want to bare this in mind when choosing weapons for PvP aswell, as ablaster that has a min-max damamge of say 150-200 is going to do more damage to someone with ranged mitigation 3 than someone with a blaster with min-max of30-250.

I just purchaced a DH´17 pistol as i reached CL23 (i'm a novice ranger as well). Before I had a Striker Pistol. I just wonder: My character holds it like if it were a two hand held weapon and move significantly slower (compared to Striker Pistol=though also deals a better punch.

Is this as it should be ?

Any help/comments much appreciated.

The DH17 has always been held in the "carbine" manner, but you shouldn't slow down any more than you would carrying any other pistols.

I'll get myself one and do some testing, if it does slow you down more than other pistols then its a bug.

I have not myself been able exacltly been able to determinate ifmy characterslowed down. It looks so but i realise that I cannot measure it and it could be sort of a "visual fraud".

I will be very interestedlearn about your testing.

I grabbed my deco DH17 off the wall of my guildhall and went for a run last night.

Couldn't see much difference but its hard to tell. I was running with a pistol and then a DH17, then a carb and finally a rifle.

I may have to do more testing on this.

yes, you move slower with it, its basically a carbine that is classified as a pistol.... trust me, i used one for awhile
