i say that when you become a Pistoleer you should be able to weild 2 pistols at once because you have got throught alot of training in the art of using a pistol so you should do a jango fett and target 2 enemys at once or use 2 pistols at one enemy. If they are able to do it in the movies you should be able to do it here.

I think dual wielding is a good concept but.. I must say that I don't know if the devs will ever implement it. I'm sure they have MUCH more to do on their list than add another pistol. Especially since the Pistoleer needs to be balanced.

Heh, just more proof that the dev's released an unfinished game. I'm glad we all get to pay for Beta 4 :-P

I said this on another psot, but I will say it again. I bveliev Devs said that they _do not want_ to implement pistol dual wielding, as they are following the star wars movies. This is not Delta Force or Rambo. You never saw a character in a moview wielding two pistols. Not even in close combat.

What? Only in the mind of the clueless does anything in this post offer proof of unfinished anything. I'm really sick of clueless people making emtpy statements as if they have meaning!

2H pistols might be way overpowering. It really depends on how well high end pistoleers are when compared to high end oher types of weapons. If the pistoleer comes up short, then they'll give you duel wielding with the second hand atenough of a penalty to put the damage in line with what it should be.

I agree with Zalanthus 100% and if you take a look at the threads, there is a more intelligent and in-depth discussion going on in a different Dual Wielding Thread.

I think that'd be a really good idea, but it'd make the balance of the game more in the favor of pisoleers, not that I'm saying that I'd try my best not to get dual wield, but I think that it'd make it even more of a popular professions, meaning that everyone in the galaxy would want to train in that profession, especially if it means that you not only get to shoot faster, but you get to deal out alot more damage than any other profession and from a distance!! But I don't think they will add dual wield to the game because of that reason, even though I know I would love it!

And were meant to listen to a person with Fett on the end of their name, speaking in capital letters.. whining on about Episode 2. Episode 2!

Point proven I think.

Dual wielding pistols...what an utterly moronic concept. **edit** John Woo movies...

Whats next, people start reading Drizzit books and demand fencers run around with two scimitars? Will the idiocy never end?

Oh, and to all you so called purists invoking Jango Fett in Ep2:

The new movies introduced many things. Among them are such gems as "mitichlorians" and "Jar Jar Binks" and "Stupid Bad Chemistry Love Scenes that look like bad Sound of Music rip offs." The new movies exemplify what Star Wars is NOT.

Please, naysayers, I implore you: don't be ignorant. Star Wars is a sci-fi fantasy setting in which I believe we should be allowed to perform fantastic feats. How can you draw the line at dual pistols, and then turn around and suspend disbelief for countless alien races, Jedi, cloning facilities, and entire imaginary planets?? It's a ludicrous notion to say that dual wielding pistols is "moronic" or impossible while you yourself are traipsing through a make-believe world in afantasy setting!!!

I'm sorry if you were disappointed by the new films. Unfortunately, they're 100% canon, as they're straight from the mind of Lucas, and therefore cannot be argued against. It's his universe, we're just playing in it. Love it or leave it. Call me a fanboy, call me whatever other names you might have saved up for people like me, but these are the facts.

Lighten up a little, people. It's just a game, and it's all for fun.
