Has anyone tried this template for the sole reason to be effective against Nightsisters?:

Master Pistoleer

Master Commando

Smuggler 0/0/3/0

Also how about an alternative:

Master Pistoleer

Commando 0/0/4/0

Smuggler 0/0/4/0

TKA 2/3/0/4

Let me know what you think about these combos for Nightsisters specifically, but also in general for PvE and PvP.

i used to have a nearly identical build, i gave up commando to get master tka tho...i miss my krayt launcher.
if used properly its pretty nasty, but unless you really really like pistoleer (like me) then theres better builds out there

I would probably get more boxes in TKA and just keep Novice Commando. That will give you good kinetic damage skills (TKA) and enable you to use the Launcher Pistol with Smuggler specials and Pistoleer mods.

i used to go to the nightsister compound and city very frequently as that nightsister lances were one of my omost demanded things ( iran a rare loot shop) now however, im VERY loyal to being a pistoleer for reasons i do not wish to get into now, and refuse to have a build not including pistol. Im a master pistol/rogue/novice medic/novice commando/3000 scout right now. ( i used to have 0040 in commando but i dropped it as im debating what to do with my commando skills for the time being. I was able to kill nightsisters pretty good, but having multiple ones on me was absolute hell. Without panic shot and bleeds teh way they were, i dont think i would have been able to do it (both of these have since been changed) IT is a reasonably effective build, but u need very good sliced guns to keep it up (30%+), and high end kraytsare not worth using on PVE so dont waste them. Other builds such as rifleman + medic+anythign are probably a LOT more efficient..

nightsisters= melee= you need melee mitigation, you need master tka. If you have armor and buffs you can kill nightsisters with tka excluding elders, pistoleer will be rendered useless like always in PvE.

master pistoleer - BH 0-0-4-0 this is rlly good because eye shot and torso shot are crazy with a genosian blaster. I saw a TKM and Master pistoleer BH 0-0-4-0 fight both buffed and it was no competition the TKM was down very fast.

Well the purpose of this thread was how best to kill nightsisters with a pistol, but we have devolved into PvP. First, Expert Bounty Hunter/Master Pistoleer is probably the next best template in game for PvP next to Master Rifleman/Master CM. Second, I have not lost yet to a TKA since the introduction of BE-enhanced Thakitillo; plain and simple TKAs are too smitten by the dizzy/KD combo to consider any change in tactics for PvP, plus you can just burst run away from them spamming bodyshots or eyeshots.

I know that melee profs will also be better for PvE (both Master Swordsman and TKA are probably better for killing NS) but I was just trying to get the consensus as to what template is better for killing Nightsisters with a pistol.

Yeah, IF. The majority of people rather go for the Jawa with Headshot3 for the 1 WIN button.

Unlike some, I do know how to use it. Anyway, if you want pure offense and have pistols be your Swiss Army Pocket Knife, why not just go: Commando 0-0-4-0, Master Pistoleer, Smuggler 0-0-4-0, TKA 4-0-0-0 and some medic.

thats not bad you still won't have melee mitigation past 1.
