I play PvE only. Bellow are the guns I currently own but am not sure which one is better then the others. Please advice.

Guns:

Scatter:

120 min - 171 max damage @ 2.2 speed w/ a 37.2% chance of wound

Rep. Blaster:

89 min - 269 max damage @ 2,5 speed w/ a 25.3 % chance of wound

Power 5:

17min - 87 max damage @ 4.0 w/ a 7% chance of wound + DOT (Poison) 122 str, 63s durration, and 25% Pot.

Mod. Rep. Blaster:

77 min - 241 max damage @ 2.6 speed w/ a 24.9% chance of wound + DOT (Bleeding) 105 str, 100s durration, and 75% pot.

I would actually say the scatter, if you used a power up on it. there are very few creatures with high resists to acid, plus it has AP1 as well.

It depends on the mob you are fighting. Generally, they have weakest resistances against acid, so I'd say your scatter. However, I'd suggest getting a nice krayted one (if this one isn't).

According to the damage calculator your Republic Blaster is the best damage wise, but it depends on the vuln the creature has.

Whenever possible you should /examine whatever you are shooting at and use the pistol with the dmage it is most vulnerable to.

I'd ditch the scatter to be honest, and go with the Mod Republic. For acid creatures, grab a DX2, generally faster and can do as much if not more damage.

if you need a speedy gun for low-end mobs, get yourself a well crafted DL44 or something.

If you're not a BH I'd ditch the scatter and free up some points

If that scatter is pre-slice then it kills any regular, non-krayted DX-2 (even though I love the DX-2 hehe). I would have to say the scatter is your best bet because of the acid damage, and it sounds cool when you shoot it.

I love the scatter. Shoots fast, Acid dmg, sounds cool, etc.
