Thread: Pistoleer / Fencer Dodge is no longer stacking!
Test it out.. As of this morning the stats no longer stack.
This is not to say you don't still just have one "dodge" attribute in your character screen.. Just that it's blatantly obvious if you pick up a sword/gun and watch how often you dodge compared to yesterday.

Template is...
Riflemn+TKA+4000 Fencer...Gives you 170 ranged defense...Thats the template that everyone can not hit hehe...
The problem is TKA/Fencer have *all* thier defense mods in one line, if it were more spread out around the tree, it would not be a problem at all.....But as is now, 35 points in either class gets you 50-70 ranged defense hehe.
Any word on other stackable defenses, like Ranged/Melee, state defenses, and others?
If this isn't some kind of temporary holding pattern to buy the Devs some time, then the game just went from skill-based (ie, pick and choose) to class-based (ie, whitebread cookie-cutter characters).
If this post is for real, then I'm holding out hope that the Devs just needed time to figure out how to address the stacking issue, which nobody in their right mind truly expected to last as it has been lately.

And I agree.. Everyone knew this nerf was coming and rightfully so. I think it's a holding pattern until devs release the next big patch.
I warned you guys weeks ago that this was coming, and told you that if you pick up Fencer hoping that they'll stack, proceed with caution because it's being reviewed. The Devs started their review of this 3 weeks ago, I think.
Overall it's probably a good thing for Pistoleers. The alternative was to gimp Dodge completely, in orderto account for people who had both Pistoleer and Fencer Dodge. This way Pistoleer Dodge is no less effective than it was before.
Electric:I don't think any other type of stacking is affected, aside from the obvious ones (counterattack, block).

They should look into other mods stacking as well, in my opinion. Maybe not Defense vs X, but more along the melee/ranged defense.
Its guys like you that would have everyone on equal grounds while Dueling/GCW..If one guy wants to spend all his skill points to become a proficiant pvp'er, why should that bother you in the least bit..

The problem is not with any of the players, the real problem lies in the poorly thought outsystem.
how would u split up melee and ranged defence to not stack? lets see we have melee melee defence, and melee ranged defence, and ranged ranged defence, and ranged melee defecne... sry but i don't think that works very well. u spend the points u get the defence. if u keep splitting it up then no1 will ever want to master more then one profession.
