Disarm 1, does nothing other than a random pool dmg attack, equal dmg to a regular no special shot.


Disarm 2, does nothing other than a random pool dmg attack, equal dmg to a special like fan shot/stopping shot.


Pistol mellee defense 1, same as before but now target has 30 sec imunity timer after each successfull knockdown.


Pistol mellee defense 2, does nothing other than a random pool dmg attack, equal dmg to a special.


Body shot 3 still does equal to or less damage than bodyshot 2, for more action cost.


Weapons were not removed disarmed from the target, weapons did not suffer damage to their condition when using either disarm special.

It's exactly what I expected..unfortunately. But I'm hoping when they DO fix disarming1/2, that they be made worth it.


It's interesting to see that for PvE, MTPS allows for controlled AOE, like not hitting other mobs that are nearby (but still not as good as manual targeting..that's a problem), and the disarming 2 cone AOE is superior for PvP (fire and forget, damage to enemies is ALWAYS a good thing in SWG)


If I had to choose, I'd choose cone, but it would certainly be nice to have each, as long as MTPS becomes more effective.

So disarm 2 and mellee defense 2 do the exact same thing now on test?Both do arandom pool attack equal to a special? Sigh.......


sidenote: Ya pistoleers are so overpowered that why's my buddy is running around at lvl 3 carbine in the marksman tree with an AR2 gun that shoots as fast as my DX2 and has over 100 more base damage then my DX2.Definately sounds like us pistoleers are overpowered./boggle

Is there a 30 sec timer on suppression fire as well?


Don't lose hope, yet. It is improper to assume that if one change is made and another is not, that it will never be made. More likely, they havent gotten around to it. Lots of broken classes screaming for attention right now. That being said, if it is not fixed in a month, i am headed up the smuggler line =[

If they impliment those pistol changes live then ill go carbine til they nerf that then go to a different game . instead of nerfing the **edit** out of everything and making the game more unbalanced fix whats frikin broke . once the classes work as intended then see if they are uneven in skills . until then quit changing it . i have never seen such an bass ackwards way of fixing something in all my life .

Does disarm 2 at least keep the cone area effect? Or is it just a single target?


Re: suppression fire, the post from the developers stated a 30second timer for knockdown/posture effects, so I'd assume the worst. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they are on the exact same timer.


How many more random pool attacks are they planning to give us and still not bump up bodyshot3? So far the only use I've found for bodyshot3 is when I'm using powerups and I want to conserve powerup charges and weapon condition.

Well doing some more testing and it appears the aoe effect of disarm 2 is broken.


Taking a nest of chuba's, non aggro non social.


Group of 6 all tightly packed, use disarm2, all aggo so aoe is targeting all. Only one takes damage, so aoe is broken.


Second test, shoot lair so 6 or so aggro on me, use multitarget shot, only 1 takes damage, not all on aggro list.

more proof the developers are incompetent idiots that just don't care and have no vision. Sounds harsh but how could anyone deny that.

lol. I did get a little edgy last week, but I'm definitely back to my old self


In all honesty, I don't have any more pull or ability than anyone here to sway the developers/designers. Other than of course, a montly (plus updates...since 1 month is too long) issues report that I take from the forum to email. Many people have stated that they don't like me "confusing the issues", by including too much information, or too many reports, or things not related to the issues report. I mean, if I sneak in a random rant, who knows, they might choose that as the one month report to comment on and we're hosed again!!


From my brief discussions with other correspondants, I don't think anyone is getting fast feedback yet.


Idid receive this:

Theydo recognize the bottleneck. I do support and post on the general discussions posts the community puts up, but I am not going to be a leader, I'm just the issues spokesperson. I do love sharing info and debating though, and I'll be doing that even when I'm no longer correspondant


Would you rather them change disarming1/2 without reviewing our suggested changes? I don't know, I'd actually like 2 things to happen. 1. they read our suggestions and comment on them, on the pistoleer forum, and ask "is this something like you'd expect to see?"? Similar to the medical XP gain on pet discussions, the T21 discussions, etc. Can't have it both ways, either they fix it NOW, without really listening to our suggestions, or we wait a little while longer and see if they like any of our suggestions and maybe a variation on the theme. Like if they went forward with damaging weapon condition...they'd get a resounding "DONT DO IT", if they went with a delay or unequip + no requip delay, they might get a lot of "OK, lets' try it". What do you think?

I think I'm a Skwaad Leedur/Nerfoleer (master of both) so this game is quickly losing any appeal to me. The changes on TC...wow. And as with the medic xp nerf, they will just one day implement it.

LOL typical. Disarm2 and multi target pistol shot in master pistoleer box is trash. Well Pistoleers now that we don't have a ranged knockdown/status effect, you just have all the more bragging rights when you put the smack down on a Boba Fett underoo wearing Bounty Hunter yahoo.
