Thread: I don't understand you guys
I know not all pistoleers are like this, but it kind of pisses me off.
I am a Master Rifleman and have been for awhile, I'm not one of the new FotM/Holo Riflemen.
Most of you are mad that pistoleer/fencer dodge isn't stacking anymore, and rightfully so. I was working on mastering pikeman for the block bonus to rifleman. Most consider this a nerf and don't like or want it, neither do I.
Now yesterday while I was doing a little PVP, I killed a master pistoleer. Then he cloned and came back and attacked me, so I killed him again. Then I get a tell from him saying that he can't wait until the Riflemen get nerfed, and him and all his guildmates are waiting for us to get nerfed so they rub it in our face and blah blah..
So what gives? You guys don't want to be nerfed, but you would like to see Riflemen get nerfed?
Like I said, I know this isn't all pistoleers, but is this a general feeling among you guys?
Umm, what the hell this was supposed to go on the pistoleer forum. Even SOE's forums have bugs, this sucks.

I disagree, pistols are primarrily semi automatic and that means your either not gonna fire every second or aren't gonna be that accurate thanks to kick (I dont know what type of kick guns have in a mystical past with magical energiesand so forth but still) the only weapon that should be hitting the 1 sec cap is a carbine, then a pistol, and finally a rifle. Even though there are plenty of assault rifles which is the type of gun we are apparently supposed to have.
And the pistoleers have had it in for us for the longest time since we want their range or accuracy to be lowered since we are crappy at melee/pistol range yet they are great at a rifle's so the "community" is primarrily allied against us. Meaning the people with no life and too much free time so they spend it on an internet forum...like me.
The problem with Rifleman is that they can use Advanced Straf at 2 or 3 meters and hit for huge damage, way more than a Pistoleer will do at 64m.
The few times I go to the Dark Trooper base on Naboo and a Rifleman shows up I just quit at that point and leave. One rifleman will out-damage a group of 5-6 decent players with this attack, even at close range, and get loot rights every time. Its a joke that most people are not aware of but don't worry, rifleman will be the flavor of the month soon and when that happens the nerf's will roll then.
You need to understand the long history here. First it was BH vs Pistoleer in the nerf war. Then it was Rifleman vs Pistoleer in the nerf war. Still some old holdovers that want to play nerf-you. Its historic stuff.

People that think this should happen are not worth getting angry at.
It used to be HARD WORK being a Rifleman...we were only recently 'ficed'
Rifleman began Nerfed..and is now working out just fine. Sadly this means that a bunch of people are now rifleman because it tastes good.

What am I missing? Whatever it is no one uses it....ya, I can really see that the most of your rifles are assault rifles, a whole 2 of them...And you get no real sniper moves? Flushing shot, sniper shot..hell, you get bonuses to being covered, which means prone and sniping...how you can not see that you're meant to be SNIPERs is beyond me.
Well the cold hard facts lie in the truth that Riflemen areoverpowered. In your first post you sounded so cocky about your abilities. I killed him and then he came after me again and I killed him again.... Why should Riflemen at will be able to kill Pistoleers? They shouldn't be able to, especially at close range!! I think at 60 meters out sniping (sharpshooting) they should be deadly, but within 30m they should be dead when facing a BH, Pistoleer, or Carbineer. I know you won't like that, but its true and even the truth will be moot when marred by personal desire and ignorance. (Please prove me wrong on my last statement)
As far as stacking Pistoleer with Fencer, well in my opinion that was close to cheating. I'm happy its no longer stacking and it was for the better.
One last thing, that Pistoleer was a Jack-a-ninny! He's giving the rest of us Pistoleers a bad name, and I would ask him not to be like that. Don't PvP if you can't handle losing, and don't whine like a baby if you can't win.
