The rebels have the x-wing and b-wing.
The imperials have the Actis fighter.
How come the neutrals don't get a variable configuration fighter?
Knowing our luck they'll give one to us where once we press the 'O' key, the wings fall off....

Everyone gets both the JSF and the ARC. You can't really say that one belongs to one faction more than another.

Besides, why do you want one? Swing-wings are higher-maintenance, after all...extra moving parts.

Also it's annoying in 1st person when you get delay before firing because you forgot you S foils were closed from hypering

The Vaksai is nice but is more for a PvP since one gun isn't as effective as two in PvE. However, Freelancers do get good multitask type fighters (exceot for the vaksai, that is pretty much all they get). The Dunelizzard, Inyxinienthing (whatever), Rhik, and Krayt.

Does the S-foils on the Actis do anything, besides preventing you from firing when closed? What about on the ARC?
What does the open and closed settings do on the X-wing and B-wing?

nothing on the JSF, but the x-wing has a lower top speed with them open... not sure about the bwing

The X-Wing and B-Wing lose a few percentage points off speed when the foils are open.

That it? Can they fire in both modes, or do they have to be open like the JSF? I would have thought there would be a manuverability difference or something. *shrug*
