I want to know since when? Far as I heard, you were able to be Rebel, complete the quest, and then switch faction and generate the ship when you could. Has this since changed? I completed the quest and went Imp, then finally achieved the skill-level needed for the ship, went to generate, and it said I hadn't completed the quest(yet the Queen gave the deed and cash to me, I didn't buy it). I put in a ticket and the CSR said the ship was faction-specific, and if you switched faction you won't be able to use it. W t f?

You do have to give them a little breathing room - there's a lot in this game to learn. I fly and read these forums a LOT, and I'm still learning about pilot.

Eww, feel dirty defending CS.

Yes, they are both learning the game, AND the english language at the same time. Give them some credit for even knowing what language you are speeking. India is a veryhard country to get good work in and these guys are giving it all they have in order to keep the high paying 90 cent an hour job with sony. So give them a break, their 16 kids are counting on them to bring home that 120 dollar paycheck per month.

They outsource their CSR and most of customer service to some backwater country, where people don't have computers at home, they sith in the basement and earn 1 dolar a day for 12 hours of work. And barely underestand english.

as far as i know you can gen the ship ... as long as you do it before changing factions ... so if you never gen it then you drop and re grind imp ..... you will not be able to use it .... but if you leave it in your data pad till you can use it in imp then you are ok same with the nub fighter

Yeah, been that way since they released them. I've got a nice ARC-170 deed that's been collecting dust in my bank for a few months because of that

The 16 kids crack is a bit racist, but the rest in a sad truth illustrating how large companies exploit underdeveloped counties while removing jobs from thier home country.Guess that says alot about SOE. Then again we don't have to look much farther than the multiple bugs that have existed for months or even yearsin every profession except jedi to realize that all SOE cares about is the money.

Imade the mistake of redeeding the ARC after leaving Vortex. When I went to generate the ship as RSF ace, I got the"You have not completed the mission to use this ship" message. I knew it would happen, but I hadn't heard if anyone who complains about this problem had actually sent in a ticket for it. So I sent in a ticket explaining what was going on. About 30 minutes later a CSR sent me a tell to log on to an alt server for about five minutes. Came back and my ARC was in my datapad.

Thanks for the imput Mono, I've been considering tossing out a ticket to get that deeded along with seeing what else a CSR can fix (give correct badge for RGI instead of HeavyX-wing, and see if they can regrant me access to the tier 5 duties). I'll have to try that tonight. By the way, what category did you put it under to get a nice fast response?

No problem. I hope they can help you out aswell. I put the ticket under CurrentTop Issues and then RotW Quest Issues. I'm not sure they can fix the RGI thing, but I believe there was a fix already made. Have you tried talking to the Imperial Station again? Its supposed to correct the issue.

Yeah, I've tried a few times. Last attempt was sunday, no badge correction, no duty missions (just the Kash Station entry quests)

Maybe with all the other Publish 24 fixes for space, we can get D_P to look at these too?
