I got Master Pilot yesterday, and I got the Smugglers Alliance badge. My question is, what can I do now? I get Prestige Points for destroying ships, but I dont know what that does. I tried speaking with Gil Burtin in Bestine, but he only gave me the option of Retiring or Walking away. Is there life after the Corvette for an old Space Bandito like me?

As I understand it, you need presige points (30,000) to enter Deep Space.

If you haven't done them, there are also alot of Space Station quests (some dependant on faction) that you can do plus all of the Kashyyyk space quests which, many, are very challenging. All will give Prestige Pointswhich can , at this time, only be used to go to Deep Space andhave a little PvP "fun".An imperial Star destroyer is in that zone, along with many corvettes and a Rebel Space station ( station is attackable, but currently bugged and no attackable ).

All there is to do now is constantly try and make improvements to your ships and deepspace..not much else.

Nope, not an Ace yet. Not until you view regrinding a pilot prof as a good way to spend a spare day and a half.

Not to mention, pick up another reward item to finish that perfect RE you've been working all month.

/sigh

Nine aces and several months later, and I'm still one part short of the ideal level 6 engine.

Yep, as many times as you want. But you'll start from Novice pilot.

It gets easier every time you do it, for several reasons. First off, you get double xp when you do your second squadron, you can get even more for later squadrons if you master each faction (reb, imp, freelance, doesnt matter which squadron or how many, just get multiplier for however many factions you've mastered) You also have more experience flying now, which makes lower levels easier, as well as (unless you've been selling it all) a lot of space loot to find good parts for low levels (unless you exploit, im not gonna explain how). If you've been selling all your loot, I'd advise saving it from now on, at least the good stuff. There's threads around that'll explain the best levels for each type of component etc.

Heh.. Back when I was young and stupid, I quit the military instead of simply going on leave. But I did get master pilot in a week of pure hell.
