Thread: Which Droid Chips are BEST?

As Master Pilot, I find RO, CO, & WO very necessary. I know the combo would change for different ships.

I'd liketo know what other Master Pilots are using.

I am considering one of the front shield reinforcement chips to increase survival chances when attacking head on.

What do you think?

Throw in Engine Overload, and you're pretty much looking at what everyone runs, when they're able. It doesn't seem many people like the alliance commands. Once WO3 gets fixed, things may change, but for now, that's pretty much it. Oh, and Cap. to Shield Shunt also.

Consider Reactor and Capacitor overload 3 chips.

These are a godsend in concert with weapon and engine overload commands

OK - I can see four of those chips being best but why Engine Overload?

In actual battle, I find I need to notch down my throttle. Is it just a matter of convenience in getting to a location? If that's the reason for having EO, then I'd like to know what the 6th best chip is.

Engine Overload increases your speed, oh and don't get any of the overloads that are "4" only "3" if you go over "3" you start to damage your components everytime you use them.

I use:

- Weapon Overload 3
- Cap Overcharge 3
- Reactor Overcharge 4
- Engine Overload 3

in that order. Also, cap to shield shunt 4 is used as nessacary.

Engine Overload not only increases speed (handy to get to spawns and such faster, handy when you're doing missions or whatnot with waves and need to catch back up to the escort craft, and also nice when you have to retreat for a while for what ever reason) but more importantly, it increses YPR also. The effect is multiplied when flying with a JSF, or Grivious fighter (they turn just as fast at top speed)

I use Cap 4 so when I use shield shunt I get more shield back if not a full recharge each time.

engine, weapon, reactor and cap overload 3 cap-shield shunt and foward shield reinforcement can help if you are going against gunboats on your way into the blindspot but otherwise the rebel droid commands are worthless
