Thread: EXP should mean LEVEL like ground game.

Ok I can see on the ground game making it so you need people to get together but there is not as many people in space and alot of times its hard to find an ace or some people to help you out. I have mastered RSF and Smugglers Alliance already and I am working on Imperial Inquistor (spelling) now. I enjoy space and want to master all the different aces. However, I think if you just get the EXP then you should be able to level. Just like the regular ground game, you get the EXP you can level does not matter if you kill 1 million nunas or 5 rancors you get the EXP you level. This requiring missions to level is some bull and I dont like it. I like the stories that go with them dont get me wrong but if you got the EXP you should be able to level, perhaps make it so you have to do the storyline to become ace pilot but not to level.

No. Learn to fly your ships, and you'll get through the missions. Personally, I'd like it if they tripled the number of missions, and cut out the XP entirely. I've got no problem with the missions at all, but as I am now on my 3rd profession, I'm having trouble getting motivated to go grind XP, even with the bonus. Grinding is dull, give me more missions.

Agree with Treena on this one, more missions less grind. Though I've never had a hard time grinding.

This is just rediculous.

the missions are what make mastering skill based. If you can grind out the entire prof on tier1's then skill is not required to be an ace. You obviously are having trouble on the missions, instead of whining, why don't you check the pilot helper list or you could try improving your skills instead of having people do it for you. Better yet, just stick to the groud game.

Learn to fly ships wow you must be good! And I am assuming you did every mission solo up to master pilot.... If you did thencongrats because I don't know anyone that has. Iam just saying its hard to findpeople to help in spacethen it is for ground game and we should be able to level that way to.

Improving my skills? Like I said I have mastered pilot twice already jerkoff

Actually I think everyone that has replied to your post so far has Solo'd a pilot prof including the Ace missions.

If you already have two Aces then Inquisition should be a water run.

I would much rather ask for help on more missions then solo xp grind.

I've soloed Crimson Phoenix, and I am at 3333 with Inquisition now, all solo. Haven't been blown up since Tier 2 of Crimson Phoenix, when I stupidly chased a Scyk from one of my duty missions into a pack of Tier 3 Imps. I've already Aced Inquisition once, and I can tell you with a great deal of certainty that there is nothing in that squadron that cannot be soloed if you know what you are doing.

You have mastered twice and still have trouble with missions? wow... you must really suck. I have only mastered once and I can solo the master mission.

No, I did not master any of those Aces by myself. I would always need help near the end missions. (Usually the ones with the gunboats). I do not play the game all the time so I only have a little while when I am on so I was just suggesting that an option be available to do the grind as well. Like I said don't cut the missions you could still incorporate them but they should not stop us from leveling with experience.

So when I get stuck on a mission it usually takes me forever to find someone to help out because I am not on very often and then it takes me forever to get master pilot and start on my next one.

You can keep the missions and the regular leveling procedures, but if you get enough EXP then you should be able to level then.

No, you shouldn't. If you cannot fly well enough to get through your missions, you don't deserve the title Ace.

Stop thinking of pilot skill boxes as an entitlement. Think of them as a Quest reward with an xp cost. That's the way this part of the game is designed, and that's the way it should stay.
