I would lik eto see this in game got all this info from starwars.com

When the Separatists took over Utapau during the Clone Wars, Port Administrator Tion Medon had the local militia hide their starfighter forces from prying Confederacy eyes, keeping these secret weapons and their skilled pilots in reserve for when an opportunity to strike back against their oppressors presented itself.

When Obi-Wan surreptitiously signalled Medon that Republic help is on the way, word spread quickly through the Utapau underground. By the time open battle erupted in Pau City and clone troopers stormed the Separatist outpost, the Utapaun fliers joined the fray.

Built by Buuper Torsckil Abbey Devices, the Porax-38 fighter has acute sensors, strong shields, a limited hyperdrive and twin laser cannons. The tiny cockpit can only hold the stubby Utai natives, and not the taller Pau'an species.

George Lucas' very fluid methods of filmmaking allow for new elements and ideas to easily drop into an evolving story. This freedom occasionally runs counter to the more rigid deadlines maintained by publishers as they try to produce tie-in books in time for the film's release. This sometimes leads to discrepancies between the finished film and the published books.

The P-38 starfighter was afforded a lavish two-page spread in the Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections book by DK Books. A vessel of the native Utapaun resistance force, the ultra-sleek one-man snubfighter was given a full write-up and exploded view illustration.

The P-38 was a late addition to the film, its sleek lines catching the eyes of the Cross-Sections art team to warrant inclusion. But it was also a late subtraction from the film; though developed as a digital model, it was never completed to the level originally planned. You may be able to spot it briefly flying over Utapau, but it has been relegated to a role of tiny background craft.

On the remote world of Utapau, the sinkhole cities are lined with landing platforms that support all manner of incoming and outgoing vessels, including native craft such as the sleek Utapau P-38 starfighter. These vessels were employed with the natives during a battle to liberate their world from Separatist occupational forces in the Clone Wars.

That's a pretty cool looking ship but I know that people would complain 'cause it's not fitting for this point in the timeline (let's not debate the lack of continuity either that already exists). Besides, I requested that the devs put Uglies in the game and I'm still waiting, so at this rate they'll put this ship in probably a few years from now.

So, Uglies first, then P38.......... You know you want Uglies.......

i don't think it's a coincedence thay gave it the P-38 number, because it looks alot like the P-38 Lightning from the WW2 days

- I support the proper use of common sense when it comes to re-developing games which are nearly two years into their tenure...evidently this sentiment is not shared by those that finance this game.

I'd really like to see some more diversity in the POB ships myself.

I think the Y8 was a step in the right direction in a way, but I'd like to see the YT2000 and the YT2400 introduced, as well as the Lamda shuttle and maybe a few other dev-created vessels (still in love with the design of the Kimo).

wow, I like both of the posts of read from you so far. Have you got a fanletter? But yeh...I think Uglies would be cool and a easy modification..I mean, we have Y-wings...and we have TIE cockpits...so how hard would it be to stick em together?

Uglies would be awsome . A y wing with tie panels would be cool lol.

But i would think that would just add to bugs , THey should fix current bugs first

I'm pretty sure that the TIE Defender was developed just after the battle at Hoth, and right now we should be about 6 months to a year before Hoth (although I suspect they'll make that an expansion soon). Alot of people asked for the Defender anyways, and I'm guessing that's where the TIE Oppressor comes in. The Oppressor is the galaxies equivalent of the defender, it's fast enough, heavy enough, and has alot of guns. Even if they did push the timeline up, I wouldn't expect to see the defender because it's role is basically filled already, but then again you still have people like me who fly certianships even when we know we could do better with more popular ships.

Exactly. My view to a T.
