Thread: how do you get a Black Sun Helmet

ok what all do you need to do? i want to know as i have taken 3 black sun groups on and got nothing and all were tier 4 ships
as a rebel what do i do?
as a nutral what do i do?

they are pretty rare... peeps have said they have killed a hundred or more ships with no drop.

Ok, So where do you find Tier 4 black sun spawns? Endor? What sector?
Wonder if the helmet will look good with my BH armor

Endor isnt the only answer. I'll be frank,its overcrowded as it stands now. If your particular flavor of pilot has tier 4 duty missions against Black sun, then by all means, run them. As someone above mentioned they recieved theirs looting from a duty-mission Tier 4 BS, it is apparent that *any* Tier 4 bs offers a shot at looting one

got mine off tier 4 BS duty missions outta the lok hotel for rebels
you get about 250+ tier 4 BS's to shoot down, soexpect the mission to last about 1-3 hours depending on how good your ship is.
You can alway land on dant and logif you have toand when you come back the mission will restart where it left off...
just dont leave the dantooine system.
The biggest bonus to doing duty missions is no one can kill steal from you...so they are all yours....i love watching people swoop in and try
to get kills off my DM's...lololol....its quite funny...had one dude trying to kill my stuff for about 15 min b4 i had to tell em that he had no
chance to even damage em...heh
bout 800+ got me my first and only one... at about 1000+ since i have gotten it andi have not gotten another.

Any privateer pilot trainers give out those particular duty missions?

Thousands lol, no drop (Im just about to break 10 million on prestige points, and I visit Deep Space frequently)

Took me a while to get mine had been killing spawns around endor all day and got nothing, the next day i spend 5 minutes killing tier 4 blacksuns from a duty mssion and i get it.

Tier 4 black suns.
350 got me the first.... 600+ and no second, but I'm not exactly grinding them out.
It looks like about a 1000:1 chance or worse.

The RSF tier 4 trainer does. His name is Dimness very top of the palace.

I am still looking for one somewhere in the mountains of Black Sun rubble I have left in my wake. Of the 21 Million prestige I have, no less than 13 million of that was earned running tier 4 Black Sun destroy duty missions. Those are how I make cash anyway, so it's not like I've been doing something I would not have been otherwise just to find a piece of loot I can't use. I would say though, based on my experience, this is not something you can just run out and get in a couple of hours unless you really step in it.
On another note, I wonder what one of these lil' ol' hats would fetch at auction, given the rarity of the loot?

I got mine from a death watch fighter. ... I think. I was showing the poor fools how to fly XWings. And voila!
I am having more troubles choosing what to go with my new hat.
Just keep on flying. What can I say? But don't get jealous. I have never ever looted anything special ... except for my exceptional stone dagger w/ +25 one-hand-damage. So there! (Absotively true. I will show it to you if you are on Chilastra.) How on SWG ppl loot those crazy NS guns and vibro units?

The only armor that you can get to match it is padded. Everything else is either to white or to rose. I had a special set of black with red/brown 1 padded made for it, and it matches perfectly.
