I dont have a hard time matching it at all... whith the graphics cranked all the way up, and zoomed in to nearly 1st person, its fairly apparent that the thing isn't white or silver, but a mirror polish metal or chrome. Chrome looks good with nearly everything...

Yeah, its that white/rose matallic color. And no...it doesnt look good with just anything. I've seen it posted up in screenshots here with some absolutely AWFUL outfits that I wouldn't put on my toon if that was all he had to wear.
