I've tried the rebel missions from Theed, and, once I got to tier 3, no matter how hard I tried, no matter how well i had fit out my starship, I just couldn't pass that ridiculous first level. I got so frustarted that I quit rebel altogether and went privateer. Now it's the same thing: It's like every hurdle you jump through, there's another one after it. And they don't even give you a chance to fix your damage, it's just more and more ships ganging up on you. I had to have destroyed every ship in the galaxy, but more keep comming. WHY?! I thought this game was supposed to be enjoyable. I'm not a PvP'er, I'm a PvE'er, and the devs always said that they wanted this game to work for both types of player. But it just seems like they've made it impossible to pass these missions without outside help (or an act of god).
I would like to see one of 3 things happen:
1. Nerf the missions a little. The devs are always nerfing our equipment, why can't they nerf something in our favor.
2. Allow pilots to train levels without the faction specific stuff. There were probably millions of pilots in the star wars galaxy who weren't rebels, or imps, or smugglers, or corsec, or rsf. They just flew their ships and lived their lives. Makre pilot skills trainable just like any other skill.
or,
3. At least give us the satisfaction of being able to shoot and kill our pilot trainers. : )

I got to 4444 Rebel CP without anyone ever helping, as my first mastery, without stocking up on top end RE loot - just using what I collected myself

This week I dropped Imperial pilot for Freelance (Smuggler's Alliance), and solo'ed all the way to the corvette.
I can't stress enough the necessity for Reactor Overload 3, Capacitor Overload 3, Weapons Overload 3, and Capacitor to Shield Shunt 3 or 4. With these droid programs, you have to be pretty bad as a pilot to die repeatedly.

Did have help on one tier 3 for black eps squad, soloed the others. With the skills i have now, I could beat it solo even without uber equipment. After I got my butt kicked on that mission was when I discovered the joys of droid commands.

I just quit JTL -- never got beyond tier2. No one seems to be out ever, or else they are Masters PvPing for a few mins in Deep Space

I've done 4/4/4/4 Smugglers Alliance solo.. Can't do the Master missions by myself.. So I'm not even going to bother since theres nothing good up there in space.

6 masters done solo, now working on Black Epsilon. Combination of tactics, equipment, droid commands, skill and experience required to solo it all.
