As you know it is near impossible to shoot anything when a crazy pilot(like me) is flying a POB ship.... well you need a miracle at least. Staying in a predictible flight path is a suicid and stoping evrything to.... so here a solution: put giroscopic auto ajust.... I don't know if it's clear..... I'm explaining. You aim in a direction, the gun will continu to aim it even if the ship change position he turn right the gun computer react to stabilise it so you can aim your damn tie.

Actualy tank in the reality have this kind of stuff so I don't see why swg pob ships could not with a "bether" technology ok I admit their graphical interfaces are basics but.... it would make pob 10x bether and funyer..... probably give them a decisive edge in the space against monopilot ones.

Sorry for bad english this is not my natal language,

I have no reason to deal with you so my carabine will do it for me.

I think its a great idea too. Turreting makes me sick the way it is now.

A turret that acts like that is often referred to as ''gimablled.'' I think that all turrets (POB, 2 seaters, Arc) should have gimballed turrets.

I know atleast one friend that'd man a turret in either my Deci or an Aggressor.

Only one? I can usually come up with a crew for my YT on short notice. Come on, with the 6th Wing to pull from, you can only come up with one? Seriously, if I send out a 77th email looking for crew, I usually end up turning people away after getting a full load.

Gimballed turrets would just mean dusting off the Shining Star a bit mroe often.

It's either this or giving POB ships massive shields. And since I'm used to a small, speedy fighter, I'm not good with flying POB ships

Make fighters be able to dock w/ it and have the pilot come on board or take off for that matter.

the fighters could go overt, dock w/ the POB ship and chill in the POB until trouble arises, then they pop out, and all of a sudden, that pilot in the TIE Interceptor is regretting his choice to try and swoop in for an easy kill (>^_^)>

Or you can get the gunners to track the fighter that the pilot is tracking. If you consider what your gunners are seeing when you chase something, it's pretty easy to follow a target and allow your gunners to track the same if you fly steadily.

This is another thing I have never done; flown or manned a POB during combat. I've flown as an escort, and as a passenger in an Arc, but that's it. While the Gimballed idea sounds good, and logical, to me, this is maily what happens when someone with little or no experience is asked to form an opinion, because of this, I'm interested in seeing it from Kirk's point of view.

I know that many new pilots have trouble with single ships of all makes and models. I've seen players devise elaborate schemesin an attempt to offset what they see as poor design, but which are, instead, the result of poor skills and lack of knowledge and stick time.

I posted a sort of guide to how to PvP and High end PvE in a POB. You should be able to find it on here. It might get you thinking as to how to use it to it's best advantage.

If they can't get it to work just have SOE borrow some programmers from Planetside. This is how the turrets work in that game.

LOL, so the devs from planetside got it working? What happened when they started copying everything from WOW? Everybody started complaining. I love this game, and I don't compare it to others because if I did that, wouldn't I just be better off playing that other game?

Kinda like playing Super Mario Brothers 2. You would think back on part one for a bit, then say screw part 2, I am going back to the better game!!!
