Also a short compareson to whatever other master craft you have flown, would be appreachiated.
ty much
Advantages-
-good mass for 2 gun hardpoints and 2ord. hardpoints
-Good handling
-Unique look
-Unique engine sound
Disadvantages-
-Speed is a little slower than I expected (My krayt is faster with the same 95.7 engine)
-Expensive to aquire more often that not
-Big target for PvP (Large tail section)
-Targeting takes some getting used to with the gun mount locations (you get used to it though)
B-wings can't compare as they are two different class craft and fill their own role. I have never flown an Oppressor to compare. The Krayt I prefer for day to day fighting as it is a bit faster and more weapon hardpoints. I tend to like dogfighting with it better as it is as little quicker using 3 guns vs 2 (if I don't have a 4th with a person turreting). It doesn't handle quite as well as a KSE, but with overloads that is negligible for me at least. For Vette runs, I prefer the KSE as it is a little faster in destroying a vette with 2 mk2 space bomb launchers loaded with 2 4k RE'd guns mounted. The solo ord. hardpoint on the Krayt isn't enough if the vette has to be blown in a extremely short window (i.e. 2-3k from exit point) in most circumstances. With both launchers on the KSE, it can be blown in 4 mk2 space bombs and onequick burst ofcannonfire.I also find it easier dodging turret fire in a KSE with the better handling from capital ships, but again the Krayt is my prefered craft when cannons are the primary choice of attack.
Basically my datapad consists of the KSE for a multi-roll craft, YT for travel and just goofing off, and a Krayt for endurance battles.

umm I think he meant Firespray, not Force Sensitive...
note: we dont usually call it an FS around here for just that reason. KSE works though
lol I read FS the same way the first time as well. Threw me off for a second

No difference what so ever.
No benifits.
No downsides.
DOH!!! I read it as Force Sensitive at first too lol
(am sick today, got to give a a little break once in a while lol)
- Mass, mine has 209k (I know most have more than that)
- 2 projectile weapons / 2 ordance launchers
- Weapon placement (in my opinion this is a bonus)
- Iconic and looks good.
Ok, so mine is decked out with nothing but re-engineered components. I use all the standard lvl three droid programs. 2 3800 max damage blasters, 2 space bomb2 launchers, every component hand picked and painstakingly re-engineered by (in my opinion) the best ShipWirght Ahazi has to offer. It's fast, pretty, and packs a punch.
Now, to compare it to my other ships.
Oppresor : All re-engineered gear as well but lower mass. So no space bombs on this guy or armour. I like it though. This also has a space in my datapad. The FireSpray has better shields/armour/well.. everything.. but for fast strikes and general Faction warfare I still use my Oppressor often. The increased mass puts the FireSpray over the top, but the Oppresor in my opinion is a close second.
Aggresor: Well, again, even lower mass than Oppressor. So now this ship just takes up space in my bank. When I was Tier 3 I couldn't put my Aggressor down, but now.. well.. FireSpray wins!
Advanced: Honestly, not enough mass for me to even bother now. My components just weigh too much to fit on this ship.
Advanced, Intercepter, and anything below is obviously not going to compare as they are two different classifications of fighters. I see the Firespray as more of a Multi-role Heavy Fighter/Patrol Craft. Beefy! You have enough mass for all components and even chaff to be loaded while still laying down huge amounts of flaming death.
Advanced/Intercepter obviously these are all interceptors class superiority fighters. Low mass, high speed, but fragile as heck. You can still load em up with decent components but all in all they're supposed to explode if they get hit really hard.
So, my review. FireSpray is very cool. Not worth 6 million credits... but very cool none-the-less. Bottom line though for any and all ships, it's all about collecting and re-engineering your components. I've been killed in Deep Space by X-Wings and A-Wings in both my Oppresor and FireSpray. But if we're talking purely PvE more mass = better ship.

I have had the same experience and came to the same conclusions. One additional thing, though I don't know if this really has much effect, but you can completely black out the krayt with the right texture, which might have some camoflague advantages. The textures on the Firespray are kind of limited in their scope, but on the krayt with, I think it's texture 4, you can paint almost the entire chasis one color. Don't know how much effect this would have in PvP, though. You wouldn't fool their targeting computer, but you might fool their eyes.
I like the black, but think a grey might be more useful in more situations...black might make you stick out nicely in the wrong light, but grey doesn't look as nasty for my tastes.
Does anyone know if lowered visibility is useful in PvP or does the targetting computers ability to track things negate the effect?
