You can destroy fighters in your datapad that you are not cert for. I know that is an expensive thing to do, but, if thats your only choice... Don't expect them to fix this, they aren't about fixing things!
Kirsha - Kettemoor
This is why in the Pilot FAQ under Changing Squads, step 1 is
- Unload and redeed all your ships first.
CSRs will help you with this, unless you get one that lives under a rock. It's a pain in the behind, but I'm sure you won't ever be making that mistake again, at least. ![]()
So which one do i destroy?
The arc-170?

The regular x-wing with all my quest rewards and 6 months of RE-ed near perfect parts?
The Jedi fighter?
The Crimson tie?
I know your looking for a work around, but this needs to be fixed. SOE should allow people to keep what they worked for. They just need to allow you to reeded a ship and auto remove the parts. A nice "Unload All" button in the management window would be a fix, but it will never happen...
Currently you cannot even bring up the management scrren in a ship you arent certed for. So unless i want to permamnetly delete a ship that cannot be replaced, i never get to fly again.
Ohh, im sure after 3or 4 tickets i get to talk to a CSR with an IQ over 90 or so, but double xp will be gone by then. And im quite sure the one with the 92 IQ would misunderstand my requests, and destroy all my ships for me while he isattempting to be "Helpfull"...

You've got a little attitude there, ya know? You can't rant at SOE for your mistake. Buried in your ire there though is a great idea - you should promote that as a feature though, not addressing a non-existant bug.
Really, it's a good idea...
We really should get a lot more people on these boards, the FAQs and stickies are under-read.
Attacca,
I understand why you would see me as being slightly upset, and you are correct, I am.
I did read a guide for droping faction, and restarting another, Unfortunatly, it did not mention re-deeding any ships beforehand. With the search function on the forums gone now, i did not have an oportunity to check other sources...
Bottom line is, my game is broken, and its posible it could happen to others. My only choices are to personaly destroy a ship i worked hard to get, with very little chance of being able to replace it in a resonable amount of time, or at a reasonable amount of credits... Or to contact a csr, and risk them doing the same thing, without first making sure they understand my instructions.
Its no secret that customer service in SWG is far below parfor 99% of the mmorpgs on the market. I should not have to be happy about poor customer service, nor should the burden fall on the customer, to "prepare" for the lousy service that they are sure to get.

Your posts are agressive and come across as sarcastic - you don't follow the FAQs, then you blame the devs and insult the CSRs. A warning to the pilot community maybe, but we've already got that.
Here's my advice then - NICELY write a ticket, explaining exactly what happened and exactly what you need done. If possible, cite a knowledge base article number that relates to your problem. Whatever you do don't talk to them there like you talk to them here, insulting a CSR likely won't get you anything.
