Search function is gone again? It worked for me last night ... oh well, it's appropriate, bugs keep returning in-game AND on the forums!

CSRs will help you with this, unless you get one that lives under a rock. It's a pain in the behind, but I'm sure you won't ever be making that mistake again, at least.

This guy is unreal. To the creater of this thread, while the situation you are in is a result of SOE not being a little more clever with the programming, its your responsibility to maintain your datapad. 2 months ago, you couldnt even HAVE more than 3 ships in it, and now you are loaded up with all kinds of stuff that you cant even USE right now because you are the wrong faction.
You obviously have done pilot once or twice to aquire the different heavy ships you have, so how did you not learn anything about managing your ships, planning the next grind, pre-loading ships that you can use as you go up, etc etc? Your beligerence and hostility will find you no allies here on the boards and probably wont get you any help with a CSR either. Good luck!

Heh. The ones of you who are trying to tell me to contact a csr,I already know how to do that, and have done it in the past, with poor results in 99% of the cases. Nobody can honestly say the CSR's here are great at what they do.
I have already found a way to fix the problem i was having. Unfortunatly it will not help some people, so i posted here on the boards to inform others who could potentialy be changing factions in the next few days.
Double xp is this week. Many people (rebels) will be switching factions to grab a jedi fighter in the next few days to take advantage of that. The time it takes to Create a ticket, and wait for an answer could potentialy cause them to miss a good portion of the double xp, and also inturupt their playtime by not allowing them fast travel etc...
Now, if you want to QFE a post to get your post count up, please stay on the Yahoo boards where aparently post count must mean something. QFE is normaly used by those who have nothing to add, but like to interupt or misdirect a thread. If youd like to create a "how to use the holocron, and create a CS ticket" thread, im sure somone may find it helpfull. Howerver this thread has a specific purpose, and itshas nothing to do with creating a ticket.

Wow, i guess i should have waitied till the grownups got home from work to post this... Thanks for the bumps though kids. Hopefully this will still prevent somone from being grounded for a few days.

You have the Heavy X and the Crimson TIE so you have obviously switched factions before... and you 'forgot' about this minor detail when you switched again?

This whole thing can be summed up in one very short sentence.
"You assumed you knew when you did not."
Your post was a whine from the beginning. Later posts were insulting and derogitory to us the community and CSRs.
The smart wayto have posted would have been as follows:
Wow, I am in some trouble now. I had a full D-pad of fully loaded ships and dropped my faction. I lost my pilot profession as well and now I can't fly. The search features are not working and I am at a loss as to what to do. I have sent a ticket in for help, and wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and might be able to tell me how it was resolved. Any help would be appreciated!
Yes, I know it was not a good idea to leave 6 ships laoded in the D-pad, but it happened.....I just need to know how to fix the problem or will I needto wait on a CSR to get back to me. 
Hmmm, I wonder how the community would have responded with that kinda post......

You change your post title to "Game destroying bug. Attaca already knew about it, im sure he informed everyone, so its ok now.." and you call us children and name callers? Get a clue buddy. Your situation is hardly game breaking in any case. It has a very simple fix, delete one of your ships. I do believe one of them is not a reward ship. So you looze out on a few RE'd parts. You can RE more and who knows, might even find better ones.
Other fixes will take a bit more effort, of which youll likely find none since i can hardly imagine the concept and hostility that was probably oozing from your ticket.

Obvious Troll at work here.
I'll bite though and bump his thread, if for no other reason than to give some newer posters a great example of a Troll, Trolling, and Flaming. This Troll tries to hide it by starting his complaining about a semi-legitamite problem, though it has a common sense work around, and is clearly talked about in the Pilot F.A.Q., but he shows his true colors soon enough. Enjoy!

Sadly, you created that post only because of this thread. You also got the exact same type of responses that were in this thread.. The firstreply you recievedeven accuses you of not reading the fine print or something like that lol.
This problem has be solved for some time now as far as it effecting me. Nowhere did i ask for a fix, and in the few cases of somone suggesting something that could be helpfull to somone, i did thank them for the help they tried to provide.
Now, if you wish to contine posting here great, it may bump it enough to help somone who doesnt share your eleitist attitude. Im glad most of the other pilots here know how to offer help, and discern between information, and the "haha, sucks to be you" posts.
Yes i did change the name of the post. IM hoping that some pilots that have this issue talk to Attacca first, as she already knew about this problem and of course can tell you to destroy something you worked very hard on, just to save her a few lines of type... ohh wait...
In any case, you guys keep it bumped for the Double xp switchers, because im sure somone else will see this problem again.
